I need help thinking of my retaliation against the guys in my class next week. I received the "tool" award this week during my fourth week at UPT. Basically, the class presented a case for me because of comments I made about the tuna fish I ate and talked about. The laptop thread got me thinking...I've been considering upgrading to a smart phone with Sprint. I've also considered getting just a PDA, but I really don't want to tote around a PDA and a cell phone. Anyone here use a smart phone with sprint or another carrier? If so, what kind of phone/plan do you use? I'm just looking to see if its worth getting. My pocket-sized notebook is starting to get messy and I need a little more organization. Techsan

Going through some old pictures from UPT (yes we had cameras back then), and I was reminded of a dude in my class who was on the verge of washing out for air sickness. Today I went to finance and was helped by the first openly gay person I've met in uniform...except not only was he gay, he rode a pink surfboard on a rainbow wave whenever it was that he came out. Can anyone explain to me our future tax liability under the new health care law? I keep hearing talk of huge tax liabilities because "Cadillac" health care plans would be considered income. I imagine the health care we get as military personnel and retirees is considered pretty "Cadillac-esque." Are we exempt as military personnel? Does anyone on the planet understand this stuff? And yes, I know Cadillac automobiles are junk. I didn't choose the expression.

I've heard from someone at Shaw who knows Todaro that the bold text above may be a key factor in the charges that resulted. Clearly anyone with a brain knows that pushing someone for groping your wife and then heading to another bar isn't exactly attempted murder. I highly doubt he was trying to push the guy just right so that he would hit his head and die...and Todaro probably didn't know how badly the guy was hurt. After not working out or running for nearly 4 years, last week I started running again. I run 1.5 miles one day out of the week each week and I just finished my second week. I for one am proud of myself for doing this and I don't care if you guys call me out of shape because I feel accomplished! My last week time was 15:42:309. While this weeks time was 14:12:613. I've yet to run the whole 1.5 miles. I end up walking some portion of the run. But I'm just going to keep on keeping on. Place constructive comments here \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

Before I share my story, I just want to say that this is not intended to be an academy bashing thread. I simply thought I'd share a funny thing that happened to me at the gym yesterday. So there I was lifting here at Shaw yesterday, and this guy who is decked out in USAFA clothing is using all the same equipment as I am. So after a few min I say hi and ask him what he does.
