  1. Congratulations to another Weapons School class graduation but special congratulations to the 14th WPS (AC, MC, CV, U-28 and formerly 53) on 20 years. They had a good collection of old patches and got some great history from a former commander and plank holder of the squadron last Patch Night. Great history and here’s to 20 more!

  3. Well since it will start and stop with Trump, your proclamation this is any sort of solution to political protection is pretty hollow. The FBI was caught investigating Hunter’s 4733 violation 5 years ago. The IRS has been found doing the same. Weird how it takes so math years to figure out saying no on a yes no question about drugs was or wasn’t a lie The fact you and others repeatedly find a way to deny Hillary or Hunter or any number of other illegal acts don’t meet the criteria for prosecution is pretty well proof of that. I didn’t vote for Trump either of the times he ran, but the way you and others are enthusiastic in applauding this blatant attempt to deny him even the process of participating is pretty bold. And again, when Trumps populist movement holds to the opinion about elitist protection schemes and how the Democratic Party protects it’s self from legal prosecution it’s pretty bold of you and others to go applauding it and telling all the rest of us the charges against him are somehow unique and we are the ones that don’t understand. To the laymen you look like you’re cheerleading for the exact partisan protection and political bias you claim to be stamping out. I’ll remind you, the same week this indictment was announced, the FBI director was almost held in contempt of Congress for refusing to even answer questions about the investigation into the presidents son…. Yeah that’s some transparency. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  4. This is what they hand waiver repeatedly...nothing to see here in their Liberal retain power lust. Most of the reasonable folks on this forum have repeatedly said Trump is a douche and we want him to go away. The other side can't manifest the intellectual honesty to look at everything that has happened and acknowledge there is at least something worth investigating. Biden is a mentally defunct criminal, but they will happily vote for him again...IMHO just as bad as the base that still supports Trump.

  6. To tell if a party has traits of fascism, here's the acid test. - Are they attempting to disarm citizens? - Are they attempting to control the flow of information? - Are they trying to set up where the government controls your healthcare, housing, education, and welfare making you dependent on them? - Do they balk when you suggest making elections more secure? - Do they attempt to blame one racial group for the problems of the nation? - Are they trying to control academia and the media? - Are they wanting to pack the courts to suit themselves? - Do they call for violence against those that disagree with them? That tends to be your “real party of fascism!”

  7. The person with the most votes does win. The most electoral votes. Everybody knows the rules, it’s not a surprise, and they should campaign in light of the system. Otherwise Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York would decide every election. And in that case, eventually states in the rest of the country would ask “Why are we in this union?” And then the USA would fall apart. The founding fathers thought of this, and developed the electoral college accordingly. In another thread, you asked a profound question: “why can’t Republicans convince voters in major metropolitan areas to support them?” I’ve been thinking on it, although I’m not ready to answer yet. But it’s a great question and it would be fun to discuss over bourbon sometime. However in this context I will turn it around on you: why can’t Democrats convince voters in middle America or rural areas to support their policies? That’s the only reason they want to divest the electoral college; it challenges their grasp on National offices. You say it’s an anachronism, but I find it fundamental to national cohesiveness.

  8. Exactly, he is a leader in the right to repair movement and fighting the suppressive layers of horrible bureaucracy that exist in NYC...Ultimately he left NYC for Texas, but it didn't stop there. If you want a prime example of just how horrid uber-liberal government can be check out his channel. A few gems of what they did to him...They filed liens against him for taxes he had already paid...and they misspelled the name which added to the A$$F@ckery. Then the filed a warrant on him, again for taxes he had already paid.

  9. He says he did. You're just taking FBI leaks as fact, and thereby assuming you know the facts. I don't know the facts here, but past several years of context indicates a totally corrupt FBI run by partisans who use "rule of law" as crocodile tears when they NEVER hold their own accountable.

  12. Please post a similar montage of prominent Republican politicians, A list Hollywood actors and members of the main stream media calling for violence against Democrats. Not the fringe whackos. Powerful people with large audiences. I would honestly like to see it.

  13. I'm willing to ignore all the other items that feel are being rammed down your throat and that you feel you should, instead be able to ram a whole bunch of OTHER items the other way down conservative throats. You've proven that you think you're right and should not consider other points of view that might force you to evaluate what you believe. Hopefully someday you'll realize you can't fix hate with more hate. Regardless, can we get back to this above quote? Do you seriously disagree with the basic foundational civics of our republic, such as the electoral college? You were asked once and obviously completely ignored it. Do you realize that without the electoral college, our country would not exist? The city dwellers are 100% reliant on the country dwellers for their ability to live in a city. That sparsely populated center section of our country that you appear to despise is THE ONLY REASON CITIES EXIST TODAY. Urbanites who believe they can and should be able to exist and be compensated largely based on the intellectual products they create have clearly forgetten where their out of season avocados come from (try looking in the Columbia river valley or Mexico) for their all so important avocado toast. It appears they don't realize just how dependent they are on things that come from outside the city. If the cities didn't exist, the quality of farm life would be lower, but they'd survive...as they know how to make their own food and in general survive without much outside input. If farms didn't exist. Cities would disperse out of pure necessity. Without the electoral college, our country would be effectively a pure democracy where the 51% decide how everyone lives. In every instance in history where that's happened, pure democracy leads to mob rule leads to dictatorship, and ruin. Put another way, if the city dwellers are allowed to dictate how farmers live and work, farms would cease to function. The USSR and China are fantastic examples. The first forced non-farmers to become farmers. The second now imports a huge section of it's needs. Neither of those are sustainable in the future that's dawning right now. In North America (and even some of south America, depending how we team up), we can exist largely separated from extra-hemispheric imports...IF and only IF we properly manage our natural resources. That's a skill city dwellers claim to have, but in reality have demonstrated they largely lack. Doubt that? Go make your own tortilla from scratch with products made and produced only in a city. The electoral college prevents the domination of one portion of society over the other. The door swings both ways, for which you should be grateful. You may scream for it to be gone now, but you probably not do so when republicans are in control. Why is that? That's basic civics. Not politics. CIVICS. The thing all Americans should understand and appreciate. I highly urge you to re-examine your baseline understanding of our government and WHY it was framed the way it is. Stop calling for re-writes before you re-read.

  15. 30 second google search turned these up. Let’s be honest though, I could drop link after link and you would argue against it. Meanwhile it only takes a single right leaning person on BO to mention their worry of a civil war and the prominent liberals on here immediately exclaim “Look the GOP wants a civil war!!” I think uhhello is right, political ppl see what they want to see and ignore what they don’t want to see. Just like the hardcore conservatives on here can claim to be conservative Christians and then explain away every single drastic character flaw Trump has. I prefer political hypocrisy to be balanced if nothing else.

  16. I'm positive CH knows this, but DIsco did you watch Comey's testimony to congress? HRC somehow convinced investigators that she may not have understood portion markings. Let that sink in. An original classification authority, read into TS/SAP/SAR that had worked in government for decades including being the first lady (package deal). It's an absurdity. Reference #9&10, from Politico, Link. Simple truth: the rules are different for the elected/appointed. For fuck's sake, Sandy Berger got probation and a fine for straight up steeling classified documents. I am 100% positive that Trump is some kind of weird narcissistic classified document hoarder. And if there was any actual fairness, all of the schmucks would have been judged by the same standard that Kristian Saucier was held to. But that isn't reality. But the double standard is obvious.

  19. The mission and personal sacrifices associated with the mission arent what's driving people out of the Air Force en masse. If you ask, 90+ percent of flyers will tell you they love their mission and it's what gets them up in the morning. It's the mountain of queep and endless administrivia hoops we jump through on a daily basis that sours people on the Air Force. Its the daily grinding against the densest bureaucracy imaginable. I worked a civilian engineering job for 5 years prior to Air Force life and it was leaps and bounds more focused on my primary duty than the Air Force is focused on me being a CMR CAF pilot. So we'll play a quick game of civilian world never-have-I-ever. Never have I ever in my civilian job: -had a computer that takes 20 minutes to log onto email -been voluntold to attend and organize social functions in my off time -DRMO literally anything -submit my co-workers for 15 categories of awards every quarter with nazi-regime level strictness of the award submissions -use 1/2 and 1/4 spaces in a document to adhere to writing standards -do HR functions onboarding/off boarding/ discipline/punishment -had scheduled PTO cancelled causing me to eat plane ticket and lodging costs -had my company open a credit card in my name, stipulate what I can use it for, threaten me for not using it, and withhold payment based on an archaic voucher system managed by literal retards. -had basic structural issues with our office building go un-fixed for years -been put in charge of entire programs wildly outside my job description -pulled weeds, mowed grass, and plowed snow around my office building -done 69 annual CBTs to maintain "readiness" to name just a very very few. Most of this stuff just sounds like minor gripes and complaints but the list is endless. If you have significant private sector experience prior to entering or a spouse you can compare stories with its very very easy to see the insanity of all this crap. Most dudes won't get that perspective until getting out.

  21. But award winning journalist Seymour Hersh cited multiple anonymous sources and said the US did it! You’re telling me this entire thing is BS?! https://seymourhersh.substack.com/p/how-america-took-out-the-nord-stream What cracks me up about this type of thing is they could quote me as a “Senior DoD Official” and I’m just an O-5 complete dipshit that has pilot wings so therefore I must be an expert on all things aviation and foreign policy related.

  22. An update: My plan worked to perfection. Separated with 120+ days of leave, took ~90 terminal, paid the rest. Got hired by a legacy airline and started with ~60 days left on terminal. The airline asked zero questions about any Air Force promotion stuff. Got the plane and domicile I wanted straight out of training. I'm already a line holder. Holy crap the airline life quality of life is a million times better than the Air Force. Zero queep. Zero outside work work. Zero mission planning. Zero paperwork. Brief and debrief? Maybe a total of five minutes combined per day of flying. I am so glad I got passed over and wrote a letter for the second board. I was told I am a legend in my old squadron and tales are being told of how I played by their rules and won. Do it. The letter is due in November. It is completely different if you are selected for major and then decline. You must not get selected, and a letter is a good way to do that. Here's something like the memo I wrote: MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD FROM: Capt Cool Dude SUBJECT: Non-Consideration For Promotion to Major 1. I do not wish to be considered for promotion to the rank of Major for board ABCDEFG123. 2. I fully understand the consequences described in AFI36-3207 and AFI36-2501 that will result from not being selected for promotion to Major a second time. 3. For questions regarding this memorandum, please feel free to contact my Executive Officers at DSN 123-4566 or lameGuys@us.af.mil. Signature block Ping me if you have questions. Tell your friends and anyone else that wants out early. I have zero regrets. We could have a recession tomorrow and I could get furloughed. Zero regrets would still exist.

  23. As many of you know, I'm into the airshow scene. Chuck Aaron retired but was amazing. Before he flew he was very focused and even tense. He said his performance margins were thin. Aaron Fitzgerald has taken over and flies a great show.
