I’m a doctoral student at Oklahoma State, majoring in aviation and space. I’m currently researching a dissertation topic, however I was curious if anyone here had some ideas that were aviation based?

Odd request... When you go into a classified briefing room, there's usually a storage bin into which many people put their cell phones before they enter the room. Most of the ones I've seen are poorly designed. If you have a picture of a wall-mounted unit that is exceptionally well designed, would you send me a link to where you got it, or at least a photo of it with the dimensions of the storage slots.

Anyone heard of this company or know what this entails? This is a DoD skill bridge listed on the DoD Skill Bridge website in the Seattle area and I'm honestly just curious about it.

So I’ve tried TSP customer service, DFAS and myPers and nobody can explain to me how to allocate past the $20,500 for 2022. I don’t even know how many months I need to be overseas to max it, or if it’s prorated depending on how many months you spend overseas in a calendar year. Has anyone done this and if so how much can I contribute and how many months do I need to be overseas? What happens if I exceed the limits? Once I max the Roth TSP do I need to then reallocate into the traditional TSP or if I go a penny over the 20,500 allotment does it lock it out the traditional TSP? after hours on the phone I have no answers.

I was just browsing the 2022 tax brackets and found it terrible that in the 35% and 37% bracket married couples are taxed far more harshly than those who are single. Bracket / Single / Married Filing Jointly 35% $215,950 to $539,900 $431,900 to $647,850 37% $539,900 or more $647,850 or more So two people who live together and share a life together, but are not married can make $1,079,7999 together and not enter the 37% tax bracket. I entered AD in 2010, and will be getting out this year. Am I elligible for the Montgomery GI Bill? All the requirements appear to say that I must have "had my pay reduced" by some amount for a year. Anyone have any gouge on this benefit and if it's worth it? For SA, I applied to Grad school in San Francisco to a 3 year program, and I plan on using my Post 9/11 benefits for that. But I also don't want to miss out on the Montgomery if it makes sense.
