Revival topic. I received an email from MyIDCare saying the credit monitoring I have because of the OPM data breech 10 years ago is about to end. I wonder if the chiners will delete my data at the same time. Nah. Since OPM lost my data, they can cover the monitoring for as long as the criminals have it.

One of the pilots was a Squadron Mate of mine but his name hasn’t officially been released yet. I was an FE on the DC-10 for about a year and I don’t know if the MD-11 was similar but I was never impressed with the aircraft especially the slat system. For an aircraft that was so dependent on leading edge slats there was a lack of backups to prevent them from retracting if you lost hydraulics! Pictures have surfaced of the number one engine and nacelle cowl laying off the side of the runway and I have heard from the grapevine that another engine was damaged as well.

It's more likely that he was here under a different username. That seems to be another Hallmark of his type. They say enough stupid things they no longer want to be associated with, so they hit the reset button. It's ironic, because they just end up posting the same stupid shit anyways. 🤷🏻♂️

Wait a sec, did you find some posts from people here supporting the removal of the filibuster? Or are you just doing that stupid thing where you assume everybody agrees with every Donald Trump quote?
-
Do you mind posting/sending me one of the reporting instruction docs? Whenever I go on the ETCA website it crashes for me lol
-
I wouldn't expect them anytime soon. ID and NOK notification have to occur, and it appears the aircraft crashed into occupied buildings.

You remember those proclamations from Obama's term? That'd be 2008-2016...when you joined this forum in 2022? That's a significantly long lurk before registering to share your opinions which you seem really eager to share. Gaslight much?

As a former black border C Model patch from Cruiser’s timeframe….I can’t argue with ClearedHot.
-
I remember many of you on here proclaiming the sanctity of the filibuster during Biden’s term (and even Obama’s). I am sorry you’re having to go through this, as I am certain you all are truly aghast at the possibility of your dear democratic norms evaporating.

I looked on the ETCA (ECTA?) website yesterday and found the IPT reporting instructions. The locations I saw RIs for were Prescott, AZ (one school) and Phoenix, AZ (three schools); Sanford and Pensacola, FL; Pueblo, CO (the old IFT school I think); Peachtree, GA; San Marcos, TX; and Denton, TX. Hope this helps! Not sure how they decide who goes where for IPT. Also, it’s supposed to be 139 calendar days I believe, but it sounds like it’s closer to five months.

Just so we're not always beating up on cops' shooting skills here; skip to about halfway through. Dude was apparently wearing two plate vests and thought the motorcycle helmet would stop a bullet.
-
Truly no dog in the fight, but I thought the GOP didn't care about politicians saying ffed up shit.
-
It's the best. I was a bit intimated going into first match but the people couldn't have been any more welcoming and helpful. Adding stress to any shooting makes it much much harder.

During my first requal in M9s, the instructor told everyone to point their guns at him and practice pulling the trigger to get the feel of it. My chin hit the floor. Had I been in his chain of command, I would have pulled every qualification he had.

Initial Pilot Training and Future Pilot Training
Springer replied to LookieRookie's topic in General Discussion
Had I remarried earlier in life I would have done the airpark thing. Big regret after owning an RV-4 for 20 years and an RV-8 for 10. Lot of wasted $$$ on hangars. Thousands of landings w/o a ground loop BUT when it comes to tail draggers, gotta know your limits. Here I am at Red Wing AP, WI waiting out the x-winds at my home airport in MN: -
Virginia Libs also voted overwhelmingly for the state attorney general candidate who sent texts fantasizing about shooting a state level Republican politician in the head and also hoping his wife would watch her kids die.

And now you and everyone else who peruses this thread should graduate to the next thing: https://www.practiscore.com/ Find your local match, shooting whatever floats your boat. Essentially every club, and every discipline in the country uses that website.
