AI is going to be life changing for so many people. There are a lot of admin task we do day to day in the AF that AI can solve in a matter of seconds. There are a lot of tactical applications that haven't even been investigated yet. 1

The AI then works over Wall Street/Lombard Street/Dallas Street/OPEC/etc and charters a SpaceX one-way to Mars in a Hot Red Tesla... 1 2
Guest nsplayr Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 ChatGPT already works well for OPR bullets and I’m sure it’ll be good at the narrative format too! OPM still lists Christmas: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/federal-holidays/#url=2023 But we have two independence days now? Thought it was Juneteenth/Emancipation Day. Guess either name is divisive...what's in name anyways!? (...walking slowly away)
Guest nsplayr Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 (edited) It kind of makes sense Re: Juneteenth, although having both be an Independence Day is weird and confusing. Just using the word Juneteenth makes sense to me and if people don’t know they can learn. I had never heard of that word/concept until I was an adult…southern public school education and all. Lots of foreign holidays are random proper noun words rather than descriptive holidays like most of ours are. If people can understand Halloween they can understand Juneteenth. Emancipation didn’t equal independence, and that’s kind of the whole point of the holiday. Lincoln emancipated all of the American slaves on Jan 1 1863, yet not all were free until Jun 19 1865. My current job involves writing an enormous amount of letters to another branch of government with just enough variation that it makes building a form letter/mail merge too difficult. Have been tinkering with ChatGPT writing the letters based on data from a spreadsheet, it's getting pretty close to working the way I want it to. It will save me 10-15 hours/week and be done in minutes.

I'm using a spreadsheet from a database that contains the recipients, references, and dates and then direct ChatGPT to refer to the database when writing the letters. Getting the instructions/prompt refined to get the output I want is the hard part, I'm just making it up as I go along.

M2 Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Authorizes Friday morale shirts with logo on the front and back: This expands the current morale shirt regulation by allowing logos to be worn at a larger diameter on the back of the shirt in addition to having a logo on the left side of the chest not to exceed five inches in diameter. Regardless of the logo, the shirt must be Coyote Brown. https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/3336524/air-force-releases-102nd-uniform-board-results-for-airmen-guardians/

I read that as the Mx or LRS troop can have a Friday shirt in their OCPs with a big logo on the back. 1
SurelySerious Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 The whole point of the shirt is to stand out. Being all the same color is back to the same bad decision from ten years ago. 1

Being all the same color is back to the same bad decision from ten years ago. Thats all this stupid uniform board is. We convene it every year and every year all they do is circle jerk decisions from 5-10 years ago back into style so that someone else can change it back in 5-10 years. If Green bags were still common I guarantee sleeves would have to come back down next year but since that isn't happening my money is that hands wont go in pockets anymore and you can't talk on your cell phone again. This shit is just stupid..... do we really pay people to give us their opinion on what they think looks professional in their completely biased and sheltered opinions? 1 1 3
