What a train wreck. Haley could win, easily. Young, vibrant, appears intelligent & acts presidential. Can actually speak in full coherent sentences. She would absolutely wipe the floor with Biden in a debate. She would get tons and tons of independent voters, women, and, if she was the nominee, many Trump supporters that will give her the vote as a vote against Biden/the left. But instead, we’re going to get the guy that lost vs. Biden. And if he loses again, …it’s back to the Trump playbook — the election was “rigged and stolen.” …in-between his many court appearances, of course. If we as a country allow that to happen again, we deserve what we get.4 points

So Biden literally says the border isn’t secure and hasn’t been for the last 10 years…which encompasses 3 years when he was VP and now 3 years as President. And yet he and his fellow progressives only want to make it easier for illegals to come in, oh, and he wants to give them all permanent residency and eventually citizenship. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2024/01/19/president-biden-says-the-southern-border-is-not-secure/72288828007/4 points

That's what its like trying to bang chicks in the desert. Whatever you do, don't fly helicopters because they're gay. If you go active duty. You will realize that you're not as good as you think you are. Listen to the dudes giving you advice on here. A lot of them are 11Fs. Real ones.1 point

M2....those grips are awesome and great tribute to someone who really cared about the boys in WW2. I recently purchased a couple HS Produkt Springfield guns. 1. Morita Assault Rifle VHS-2 Hellion. First bullpup for me, curiosity got the best of me. Have just over 1000 rds through it and really enjoy shooting it both with the iron sights and a MRO the threw on there. Don't understand why the buttstock is adjustable, I have it all the way in and the length of pull is just right (about 1-2 inches more than on a AR for me). There must be some big ass Croatians there that need a longer adjustment. Very accurate and reliable gun thus far. Was lucky that when I purchased the gun, they had already redesigned the weird safety. After the first range day, I immediately put in an aftermarket extended bolt release, totally expect them to do this in the future as well. They shoulda just kept the VHS-2 name, just personal opinion. 2. Echelon. Was bored and wasting some time at work so did a shelf check the gun shop on base. I had been toying with the idea of a new duty pistol for home defense, non committal though. Looked at a couple HK, Sigs, and a FN, but walked out with an Echelon. The gun just felt right in my hands immediately. I've kept it stock while I'm getting used to it, but will eventually throw an optic on there, I actually like the u-notch sight. For me it has been an absolute riot to shoot. Couple hundred rounds so far, no issues, great accuracy, looks good...feels good....shoots good. Waiting on more ammo to show up for range fun. Based my experience thus far with this, I might look into a Hellcat for an EDC....1 point

You will always be able to find crazies in any party and posting links of individuals being crazy doesn't reflect the larger party. Trump hosting that nut is bad, but on the whole, it is a sizeable portion of the left in America today that is anti-Israel. If there were a party affiliation in that poll, I'd bet that the vast majority of that 20-25% are registered Democrats. If that stat of thinking the Holocaust was fake is real and actually representative, that is insane. But one should also not be surprised when you sow insanity in the school system and the resulting crop has a lot of insanity. If there is no objective truth and the 'truth' is whatever I perceive, then obviously history can be manipulated and there is no reason to think that it has not been exaggerated. Same with all the anti-American propaganda now being taught as actual history.1 point

The left’s issue, as many of these articles discuss, is that though it is (sometimes) less violent in its nature than right wing neo-nazi/skinhead type garbage, it’s far more reaching in its mainstream cultural adoption.1 point

You’re telling me that the vast majority of people at the pro-Palestinian rallies, you know the ones at college campuses in other major cities, are actually right wing Trump fans? I’m talking about the rallies/protests since October…none of your links have anything to do with what I’m referring to.1 point

Well, if I’m a betting man, the vast majority of those under 44 who deny the holocaust happened/was exaggerated are probably the same type of people at pro-Palestinian rallies. Unless you believe these are right wing Trump lovers?1 point

Another minor thing, but it annoys the absolute fuck out of me - my USAA cards lock whenever I travel and try to use them. You'd think a company literally made for people who travel a lot for work wouldn't shit the bed every time. Not being able to get cash because my debit card locked has been a genuine liability more than once. Especially at red flag..1 point

This is incorrect. "There is no justice" and "life isn't fair" are the same thing. Timing is everything It's better to be lucky than good There is no justice. The real core values of the air force and life in general.1 point

Nobody is hating on you kid. But if this is how you react to a little ball busting on a forum, trust me you don’t want anything to do with the fighter community. 1. Your dream of flying fighters is like 96.69% of every other kid going to UPT. If everyone could just walk into a guard sq and get a fighter, everyone would do it. 2. Yes, I’d accept the CSO slot then work up. If you couldn’t get to UPT on AD, the guard reserves is much more competitive unless you are “special”. 3. I cannot tell you how many times we see young Gen Z types l, some with golden resumes, internal recs and a lot of experience think they can just show up and get a job to find out that 69 people are competing for 1 spot. Good luck. Again, nobody hating, if you need genuine advice go ahead and DM me, but I sarcastically replied to your post as I would a student fighter pilot. Grow some thicker skin, lose all Sense of entitlement. Reach out for real advice. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app1 point

Well you clearly deserve a fighter so if it looks like you gotta compete on active duty, you should just go to your guard unit of choice and tell them you want the first UPT slot available which fits your schedule. Make sure you request Sheppard so you don’t have to be around non fighter types. I’d hate you to be dissuaded by as the big blue does. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app1 point
