When I first heard of cops suing Sig, I figured it was a blame game to keep from being disciplined over their own stupidity. Now, it looks like at least some of them are legit mechanical malfunctions that resulted in uncommanded discharges. Recommend you unload any P320s and keep them in the safe until more data comes out. That's what I'm doing.

I know I'm late in the game on this thread and I found it while doing some research on The Doc after watching some YouTube videos on GO shennanigans. I was stationed at Ramstein from 2001 to 2007 so I lived through the dark times of The Doc's tenure as USAFE/CC. There is so much great information in this thread that I could use the material to write a book on the matter. What I remember most about those days was Airmen working on Combat Proud patrol where they would have to respond to hotline calls. The calls mostly came from Doc himself to inform the poor kids that a wayward Taco Bell cup was last seen on the road to CTS outside the West Gate of RAB and required immediate investigation and disposal. I retired in 2015 after 20 years of service and never in those 20 years have I known of anybody, officer or enlisted, that was more universally loathed than The Doc. I know leadership isn't a popularity contest, however, I think if NOBODY likes you, it should be a good indicator that you are not one of the good ones.

Sadly true. I love that area, and always said it would be the most likely place we'd live if we ever left Texas (which won't happen); but during my last TDYs there it became quite apparent the place was quickly turning blue...

Thanks for the info! I’ll give it another few days and then start reaching out. That said, the board said I should be fine as long as it’s certified pending MFS prior to October. If I’m waiverless and it takes that long… 🥴 I spoke to our Wing execs yesterday and they said leaving box 19 empty was fine and it seemed more like a place to explain if you had hours that weren’t accounted for in your PCSM or something along those lines. We’ll see what happens I guess! You should be all set as long as it says certified pending MFS. The MFS you’ll go TDY to Wright Pat for if (when) you’re selected. Best of luck to you both!

T-6A avionics upgrade is actively in the works.. I'd have to imagine the T6 will be around at least another 10. And l really couldn't imagine the T-7 getting online for many more years. Randolph is supposed to get its first in December.
