  1. Just chiming in as another FY26 select in case it helps anyone out. Here’s my stats. First time applying. AFOQT Pilot: 99 PCSM: 68 PPL: No Flight Hours (at the time of applying I was deployed and couldn’t fly, but have since gotten a few more): 1.2 hours Sqd Ranking: 1 of 1 Wg Ranking: 2 of 2 2x Flt Commander; 1x deployment; worked at the Sqd, Gp, and Wg levels. Always had at least one Sqd quarterly award on each OPR/OPB, and usually tried to have an annual Sqd or quarterly Gp award. My personal statement focused on leadership, adaptability, and experience in the Ops realm even though I was a norated officer at the time. LOR was from my deployed Wing Deputy CC. We worked closely together during the 12 Day War last year in CENTCOM, so he was able to see how I work under extreme stress, ability to learn quickly and adapt (I was filling a Wing level rated position as a healthcare admin officer), and my leadership ability. Ultimately, I think it was my leadership experience that propped up my lower PCSM and lack of flight hours. I’m in the middle of PCSing to Vance now. If you have questions about the application process or IPT, I’m happy to help. Best of luck to everyone applying this year!
  2. Yeah, I definitely included that in the package. This was a formal CMS case requesting I sign the AF Form 63. I fully understand and agree to the 10 year ADSC, just didn’t expect to actually sign it until near the end of training. It sounds like everyone should be getting it to sign prior to PCSing to UPT, and if you don’t finish training for whatever reason, then it will revert to a 2 year ADSC.
  3. Silly question, but has anyone else gotten a MyFSS case to sign an AF63 accepting the 10 year ADSC for UPT? I know that is the ADSC, just thought we didn’t sign that until graduation from UPT.
  4. I was notified for my assignment yesterday, Vance with a RNLTD of early May. My IPT CSD is 5 June. Got my RIP for IPT today. I’ll shoot you a dm you for that class schedule!
  5. Congrats on finally getting something!! Did you find out your projected IPT location from the UFT assignments person, Laughlin, or another source?
  6. I know a few others who reached out. I’m on leave so I’m waiting until I get back. It’d be great if they simply provided an update to all UFT selects and we didn’t have to rely on a public forum for basic information.
  7. If that’s the case, it would be really awesome if they sent an update email to everyone. I was told a couple of weeks ago that they should start loading assignments again soon. They had started, but got bogged down with AETC taskers and were expected to be getting back on track last week.
  8. My MFS from 15 Jan fell off my CDB as projected training today, so fingers crossed that means they’re going to start uploading dates soon!
  9. No, we won’t. It sounds like you can strategically take leave when you get to your UPT base to try to be slotted in an IPT class at a different location, but that still may not work in your favor/may not be approved. It’s a TDY from your UPT base.
  10. Damn me for going from an E to a P last name when I got married! 😂 Glad to see class dates are starting to trickle out though. I really thought with the shutdown it’d all be on hold.
  11. I was told April/May was a safe bet for earliest PCSs and that the initial training schedule for 2026, which I’m assuming is the IPT schedule , is not expected to come out until February. Based on the reply that justwanttofly received, maybe they got the schedule nailed down quicker than expected. Perhaps they’re trying to get assignments rolling prior to a potential gov shutdown on the 31st.
  12. I reached out to the board because I’m in a unit that deploys frequently and exercises even more frequently. Some of our Squadron’s leadership team is deploying in a few months and I’d be next in line to cover for them while they’re gone, but if I’m leaving at the same time as them then they need to start prepping someone else for that role. Sometimes it isn’t about impatience, but at this point my unit is being asked by MAJCOM for info and answers about what personnel we have available for XYZ. I’m not saying they need to tell us our specific assignments, but they did originally say we could get assignments as early as Jan 2026, then didn’t send out RIPs for MFSs until Jan 2026, which means none of us are likely to move in Jan. They said RIPs would come out 30-60 days after selection notification. That hasn’t happened either. They said to reach out if you hadn’t received an assignment by 1 Mar, but didn’t specify when they expected people to actually begin PCSing. Will people get an assignment notification on 28 Feb and be expected to PCS mid-March to start training in April? These are valid questions and I’m happy for the people who have the flexibility to not worry too much about timelines, but that info is extremely valuable for some people and not only for them personally, but also for their existing unit that is critically manned and being tasked left and right.
  13. At this point, I would happily just take knowing what quarter I’ll be PCSing. This wait and the limbo we’re in might be worse than waiting on board results.
  14. No RIP yet, but my MFS date popped up under Projected Training on my CDB this morning. Looks like I’ll be headed to WPAFB in mid-Jan.
  15. I feel your pain. This wait is almost worse than waiting for results. I just got back from a deployment and my unit filled my position while I was gone, because I was supposed to move to the Wing when I got back. Since I’m PCSing in the not so distant future I’m not going to the Wing anymore, but my Sqd also doesn’t know what to do with me since they have no clue how long I’ll be around. I feel like I went from 120 MPH on my deployment to a screeching halt at home and it’s been rough. I’m just trying to stay positive, find things to help out with at work, and bide my time until I get more guidance on timelines.
