I was surprised when we didn’t leave in 2011, and surprised when we did leave in 2021. Not surprised we’re going back though…we love doing that kind of thing.

Taliban say reoccupation of Bagram is not happening (fun propaganda video included).  OSINT accounts also disputing the claim using Google satellite imagery.  Always possible secret discussions are ongoing, but lacking any secondary confirmation this remains a single source claim.

That guy had the most hateful, combat-hardened look on his face that I've ever seen. But the  ice cream was tasty!

The Taliban has reportedly repaired and showcased some of the aircraft and vehicles in parades, and has even sold weapons to countries like Russia, Iran, North Korea, and China! 

Now tell me again which was the more inept Commander in Chief?!?

It's very difficult for me to imagine a world/scenario where going back to that filthy shithole and dumping more of our blood and treasure into the dirt there would be a good idea.
