Anyone heard of this company or know what this entails? This is a DoD skill bridge listed on the DoD Skill Bridge website in the Seattle area and I'm honestly just curious about it.

In a recent thread I ran across someone talking about great spit flying in a miniseries called "Piece of Cake." I grabbed it off of netflix to my surprise and in fact it really is wonderful. There's some great formation stuff, as well as a Spit flying under a cobblestone bridge with about ten feet on either side. I hadn't thought there was a good flying flick that I hadn't come across. I don't want the obvious ones. I want more of the "Only Angels Have Wings," "A Guy Named Joe," and "Towards the Unknown" type films. I just discovered "The War Lover" with Steve McQueen which is a must see for you World War Two buffs. Let's hear em! Cheers! -Stuck

Pretty damning accusations that sound very similar to a lot of the complaints I hear from the UPT bros. I think the author(s) raise interesting points with not too much in the way of emotional grandstanding. Also, the response from the 2 Star is interesting in his defense of treating the objective measurements as diagnostics and not pass/fail events. Thoughts?

I know what I am going to do but am just curious to see what all of you would do in this situation...Got picked up off the street for a guard viper pilot slot and just found out my OTS recruiter rolled over an FY08 OTS Pilot slot application to the just released 0901 OTS Pilot Board. Curious to see what those of you on AD, in the guard, in ROTC/OTS, on casual etc would do in this situation. Nothing like having great options though it is a tough choice and kind of begs the question as to which is the better gig in today's world...guard or AD. Opinions wanted...talk it up

First, I want to say that my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti. They already had it hard enough and this disaster will do nothing but make their lives even more difficult than it already is. That being said, any word on what the Air Force is doing for relief efforts? Who gets to go? Is it possible for a casual LT to volunteer to go down there and help out for a few days? Keep these people in your thoughts...

I know this is a overwhelming Air Force operator's forum, but I would like to say happy birthday to all Marines that derp through these forums. Although currently I am an Air Force loadmaster (and future AF pilot), I will always hold my time as a Marine Corps infantryman close to heart. Had to park the car at a farm and ride the four wheeler up to the inlaws cabin in NC. Nothing like starting the new year with a stiff drink, ragin fire, and view of the snow covered Smokey Mountains.
