  2. While the citizens of Troy get to pay more property taxes to cover the eventual settlement the city will pay to dismiss his now federal lawsuit. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cop didn’t live in the county he worked, thus not having his taxes go up.
  3. A new DoD Korea policy makes Korea a two year unaccompanied and three year accompanied. Longer assignments coming soon for troops heading to South Korea
  4. Cop distracted or on his phone while sitting at traffic light. When traffic light turns green cops doesn't move...after a while the car behind him honks his horn. Cops gets extremely butt hurt, circles the block and follows the guy home where he then ARRESTS him for unlawful horn use. All charges dropped by prosecutor, lawsuit filed, cop still on duty. Just sickening.
  5. First weekend has some great games. I got an Airbnb in Charleston for the weekend with two friends. Big screen TV and close to all great bars and restaurants...prepared to drown my sorrows should we lose to ND.
  6. Kinda pointless article, other than the NTSB will start hearings on January's crash today... NTSB hearings will focus on fatal Army helicopter-passenger jet crash. Here’s what to know The National Transportation Safety Board will hold three days of hearings starting Wednesday on January’s midair collision between an American Airlines passenger jet and an Army helicopter over the nation’s capital that killed 67 people. The goal: Pinpoint exactly what went wrong and what can be done to avoid similar midair crashes between passenger planes and military aircraft. The accident was the nation’s deadliest plane crash since November 2001. The hearings in Washington will involve NTSB board members, investigators and witnesses. Panels will focus on military helicopter routes in the Washington area, collision avoidance technology and training for air traffic controllers at Ronald Reagan National Airport, among other subjects...
  7. https://taskandpurpose.com/news/army-south-korea-tours-longer/ Would you guys have wanted to do 2 years at Osan/Kunsan? Salute to the "Juice Girls" who ruined marriages and caused a few Airmen to lose clearances by marrying them.
  8. Spanish air force pilot has been praised for his “exemplary speed and professionalism”, after he performed a maneuver to avoid a flock of birds during the International Air Festival in Gijon. https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/clyr2qx0y87o https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/clyr2qx0y

Whichever holster you choose, just make sure you’re up to date on blow-your-dick-off insurance!

I've been running the Tenicor VELO5 for the past year. Been an absolutely fantastic holster. I've been carrying a Hellcat OSP with it.
  13. I got trained on the old Berreta M9, and own one now, because I got trained on it. Never heard of one those going off unless someone playing stupid games winning stupid prizes. Our elders could probably say the same about the 1911 .45 or the SW .38.
  14. Child molesters deserve the fate of a prison pin cushion.

  16. Meh it’s just Monopoly money to the AF at the prices we’re talking about here but an RV could work too An airplane that is not too challenging to fly but more to handle than a 172, can enter the pattern at 200 knots, can put on Gs for the break turn, etc… not perfect but before studs hit the T-6, this trainer plus a syllabus to give them a transition from a 141 training environment to a quasi mil would pay dividends methinks If FUPT (really?) is it then polish that turd as best you can. PPL + Instruments, AMEL, TW + transition to mil flying, probably around 130-150 hours flight time.
  17. I almost pissed myself from laughter. Edit: Four-eyed Edo boy would make an outstanding 11H!
  18. Do you have our pic? My most exciting part of the week was the 3-engine Fifi landing on Saturday. Fortunately it is minor and she'll be back on the road this week.
  19. Why spend $$$ on the Game Bird when Van's RV-4's are much less expensive:
  20. Also known as F***ed Up Pilot Training
  21. The fact that they're calling it "F"UPT without even a hint of irony tells you everything you need to know.
  22. @Biff_Talso goes by “Four-Eyed Edo Boy”…who knew.
  23. I've seen some wild things at European airshows. Romania specifically was the most recent. I've never seen so many extended turn circles go straight through the crowd. The one that surprised me the most was Solo Turk. I've known that team to be highly professional, but the amount of opportunities for the show I saw to go horrifically wrong made me question that reputation...not to mention the number of close calls with the other local demos that should never have happened with a proper air boss. Of course to the crowd 'it's all part of the show' as I just shook my head and kept my family moving away from show center.
  24. FST is voluntary and refusing has no automatic repercussions. Cop can still arrest you for DUI with probable cause. You can then take the station breathalyzer or blood test. Refusing either is implied consent violation and 180 day suspension appealable after 15 days.
