Hi All, I’m a private pilot looking to go guard for tankers/ heavies. The problem is that I have keratoconus and require a contact lens, called a scleral lens, in my left eye to have full 20/20. I have no issues with my right. Has anyone ever been waivered for flight training with a hard contact like this? Thanks for any advice in advance.

I’d go with a GPS watch over an Apple one—it holds up better in the field and tracks runs. A vibrating alarm watch helps with early wake-ups without waking your buddy. Snacks or a food delivery gift card are solid too.

From left field and to spur conversation, googled a bit and it might be 8 billion to restart the C-17 line and for how many jets? What if we bought A-400s instead with the Europeans purchasing an equivalent amount in American aerospace products? Not the same airlift capability but a very capable platform.

I've heard different answers to this question, but do RPA hours count towards PSCM flight hours?
