WTF? (**NSFW**)
Libs and the young will sign anything. This lady was passing a petition to ban dihydrogen monoxide, aka, H2O. Never gonna happen re: Qs on topic. There are lawsuits challenging the titles of propositions that seem intent on confusing the voter. I've seen in many times. "They" don't want an informed voter, just one dumb enough to get tricked to vote yes on the no item that the voter would like to have. Then they go.... Wait, I want that, I voted yes for it. WTF.

WTF? (**NSFW**)
I see what you're saying, but I'd rather go the other way. I cringe when they talk about how big the voter turnout was because a big voter turnout almost certainly means a lot of ignorant people showed up to vote and likely didn't really know what they were voting for/against. Instead, I'd love to see all electronic ballots that have pop up questions that you have to answer correctly for the vote to count. Three simple multiple choice questions that ask what the law is actually going to do. Nothing complicated, just a simple check to make sure you have some idea of what you're actually voting for before that vote counts. Or even better, you should have to bring in last year's W-2 when you vote. If the net taxes paid after any tax credits, welfare payments, etc is zero, then you don't get to vote. If you aren't paying into the system, you shouldn't get a say in how the system runs.

WTF? (**NSFW**)
I mean, this is kind of why we have states in the first place. If veganism becomes that big of an issue, which I have difficulty fathoming, then Oregon would be the logical place for them to congregate and legislate as they see fit Edit: I should add, this is why we probably need make a constitutional amendment requiring quorum of some level in popular votes. If participation is too low, either by design or by chance, big changes should not be possible.

WTF? (**NSFW**)
Another example of the pure lunacy of what used to be the far left but more and more in the center of the DNC. Liberals in Oregon have collected over 120,000 signatures for the Peace Act. What is the Peace Act you ask....in short it outlaws ALL hunting and fishing. It ends ALL farming of animals effectively requiring everyone in Oregon to become Vegan. So far 120,000 people (6% of the Oregon population), signed to get this on the ballot. https://www.yesonip28.org/

Reasons to despise cops
I bag on the bad cops all the time. I recognize how shitty the job is and mentally draining. Agree that you mostly only see the bad apples on the youtubes but there are enough of them on a pretty consistent basis that it IS an isssue. Saw one last night where cop off duty drives drunk to the theatre, drinks another beer waiting for movie to start. He bought ticket to Star Wars opening night but went into Frozen 2 theatre. Was found passed out with zipper down and handgun resting between his legs. Cops arrested him that night but he spent 365 days on paid admin leave and then when investigation closed, he returned to duty like nothing happened. All that being said, my main issue is with what happens to the bad cops. The general public is always on the hook in even the most blatant cases when it comes to lawsuits. Most of the time in the non-criminal cases, the cop resigns and then hires on somewhere else.

Reasons to despise cops
I'm guessing it the fact that those "my bad" events don't make it onto the internet. I've witnessed more than one myself. Most cops are good people who will admit when they are wrong. I have to imagine that working with the worst 5% of the population on a near constant basis wears the crap out of you though. I imagine it'd be like having to interact with @Bender every single day.

Reasons to despise cops
Exactly. 90% of the shit you see of cops going bad are all ego driven. It's gotta be a lot more work in the long run to be that way but its not them paying for the lawsuits so nothing will change.

Reasons to despise cops
Yeah I don’t understand so many officer’s inability to say “yep, i thought I saw that, my apologies, please drive safely.” We all screw up at times, how difficult is it to say “I’m sorry” or “my bad”? Unbelievable hubris.
