Polar Bear Posted Monday at 09:28 PM Posted Monday at 09:28 PM On 6/14/2025 at 11:25 AM, Lord Ratner said: T38 Commander known for being a bro who can push it up. Ends up sleeping with a student who's lady parts have had more instructors inside than the average RSU. That somehow escalates to tag-teaming said student with one of the blue-suit sim instructors, where photos are taken just in case they'd forget the gay-adjacent threesome that put three separate careers in jeopardy. Then the sim IP mistakenly emails said photos to the base's most popular barber, who had more connections than Harvey Weinstein's Hollywood fixer. She deleted them, but when OSI "interviewed" the sim IP about a rumor that his genitals were flying CT formation with a certain commander in unauthorized airspace, he went off on a rant about that "dumb bitch" barber who is always spreading lies. OSI decided they might want to talk to the barber-they-previously-knew-absolutely-nothing-about, who told them she didn't really look at the pictures in the email and it doesn't matter because she deleted them a long time ago. But OSI decided to cast a resurrection spell on her inbox with their magical subpoena crystals, and sure enough the investigators suddenly had everything they needed. If you know any of the characters in this tale, please keep it to yourself. They all went through enough, especially the spouse and children of the eventually-jailed Commander. What happened to the student? Tanker pilot because she likes the hose.
mcbush Posted Monday at 10:04 PM Posted Monday at 10:04 PM https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/4278007/air-force-chief-of-staff-announces-retirement/ Gen Allvin retiring on 1 Nov after two years in the seat as CSAF. I'm pretty out of the loop these days as a part-timer, but did anything actually happen during his tenure? The only "accomplishment" I can think of is bringing back uniform inspections... 1
Swizzle Posted Monday at 10:55 PM Posted Monday at 10:55 PM UPT-Next, UNT-Next, AF One-Next = CSAF-Next? But good question. What will be his legacy. Begs the future question: what is next-Next?

Good riddance, hopefully he takes his CMSAF with him. Now the question is who follows him?

Lord Ratner Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I'm not sure which is dumber, getting upset that a bunch of people whose job is to murder foreigners having off-color jokes, or being dumb enough to put those off-colored jokes in a chat full of a bunch of commanders who would sell out their children to get the next promotion, much less a fellow commander telling a naughty joke... 1

On 1st glance I’d agree, the whole thing seems a bit silly. I’m more curious who he pissed off. Said individual is very political and would do almost anything to get ahead. He used to keep 2 extra covers in his car as a Lt., one with an eagle on it and one with a star on it as a reminder/motivator for where he wanted to go.
brickhistory Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago + 2 more, USN Special Warfare, and USN Reserves. Pentagon fires heads of Navy Reserve, Naval Special Warfare Command No reason given in article, but there is that fine print "at the pleasure of the President" in the commissioning certificate.
