I was in New Zealand recently and on a whim, I managed to go out and fly a Pacific Aerospace CT/4 trainer. Fairly unknown in the US... I don't believe any are airworthy here. This one was the first of two prototypes, before it went into production in NZ. It was built in 1972. The pilot I flew with was one of the handful of former NZAF A-4K pilots (only 168 total), and is a pretty accomplished warbird pilot. We did some sightseeing, AHC, and light aerobatics. It was "different". Really enjoyed getting to fly a piece of NZ aviation history.

The original date on the email for assignments was NLT 28 Feb so im guessing in the next week or so as we get closer to the end of the month. Some insight for IPT from a buddy who just finished at Peach Tree: Those with ratings will be on an accelerated timeline and not all IPT locations are standardized in training. Some will do PPL, SEL and MEL instrument, and MEL whereas others will just do PPL, SEL instrument, and MEL for example. They also worked 6 days/week! Hope this helps!

It's only an hour and a half from Miami. Anything bigger than an RJ or DC9 can do that round trip no problem. They could go to the max of 1 checked bag like they do for Key West, but even that won't be necessary on 73/320 or bigger.

This is what happens when you hire people into your administration based solely on their celebrity status. Pretending like these people have any appreciation for the Constitution or conservative rights more broadly is naive. They are where they are because they exist only to accrue power and fame. It's why so many of them switch parties when they become pariahs in their own. Trump is a good example. He has a very specific set of issues and policies that he cares about, and frequently steps on a conservative landmine on issues he doesn't care about, like gun control. Then his base loses their mind, and he quickly pivots on that issue to align more conservatively.

My kids throw temper tantrums occasionally. If my kids organize and throw a temper tantrum together, that doesn't mean I'm going to suddenly stop enforcing the rules as a parent. Give into that behavior as a parent or as a country and the only thing you can expect is that same tactic anytime they want something.
