  1. No please, try and oversell this. How many times did Biden or Obama deploy guard and active duty troops to the border? How many more times than that did state governors deploy troops to shore up the problem of migration during those administrations? We have the border mission, you know what it’s doing? Providing Grey Eagles to law enforcement who are trying to do something about cartel drug smuggling. God forbid we use our training hours to do that instead of bore holes in the sky and stare at the dirt in a restricted area. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  2. That day was today for that piece of trash. He was found guilty of multiple charges. His sentencing is 3 July. https://kdvr.com/news/local/man-found-guilty-of-murder-in-dui-crash-that-killed-us-air-force-lieutenant-colonel

  3. Excellent. “It’s a foregone conclusion that at a minimum, this guy is going to be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The only question is how many more years there will be in addition to that there will be, and our office’s goal is to get every single of of them,” 23rd Judicial District Attorney George Brauchler said.

  4. Yeah, well, people vote for those lenient Superior Court Judges. And they vote for in support of the Appellate Judges nominated by the governor. It's the "will of the people"... at least it is here in the DPRK.

  5. I don't agree with Trump on everything but it does appear he is trying to honor his core promises: Egg prices are down - granted this was not really a function of Trump, had a lot more to do with Bird Flu but prices have fallen dramatically as egg producing flocks have rebounded. Oil prices have also fallen - there is likely a sweet spot it should remain and we are very close. Border crossings are WAY down (95%) Inflation is easing and there is likely a lag as falling energy prices take a while to work through the system...next report will likely be very good. He definitely failed on his promise to end the Ukraine War in 24 hours. Interesting to see how the tariff issue is working out. The market has snapped back this week, I didn't perfectly time the bottom but did reposition two weeks ago.

  8. Capital punishment is typically reserved for the most heinous crimes, such as premeditated murder or acts of terrorism. Aggravating factors could include the cruelty of the crime, while mitigating factors might involve the defendant's mental state or lack of prior criminal history. Oddly enough, the financial cost of capital punishment is also often higher than life imprisonment due to lengthy trials, appeals and the costs associated with maintaining death row facilities. Lastly, the irreversible nature of the death penalty raises concerns about executing innocent individuals can influence the decision to opt for life imprisonment instead especially in more liberal areas. That's not the case in Texas. By the way, it's a moot discussion. Colorado abolished capital punishment in 2020 for crimes committed after July 1st of that year... The nation is almost equally split on the matter...24 states still have capital punishment, 23 do not and three have a moratorium on executions at the moment.

  12. The DUI shit drives me crazy. I was young and stupid and might possibly have driven when I shouldn't have. I grew out of it quickly. I saw a court case on YT where the lady who was 40+ was in court for her TENTH DUI. She was pleading for leniency. Think how often that bitch drives drunk if she has gotten caught 10 times.

  15. Related to the theme of this thread, posted as I thought Farage described the issue very well: https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2025/04/28/farages-reform-set-to-spark-biggest-british-political-realignment-in-a-century-says-top-pollster/ “Capitalism is dead, it doesn’t exist, we’re living in corporatism. An unholy alliance of big business, big banks, and big government… I genuinely think we won’t get economic growth if the country is dominated by six giant multinationals, none of whom pay tax on-shore.”

  18. I've unfortunately had pretty much a uniformly negative experience with SEAL leadership at the FGO and GO/FO level. The guys at the team level were usually pretty good but even there they usually weren't my favorite organization to work with. After looking at all the evidence I honestly don't understand how they thought stonewalling Chapman's MOH was going to work out/be a good idea. Pretty atrocious behavior from the SEALs all around, and it's continuing.

  19. Fuck the SEALs. Plenty of good ones but an above average amount of shitbags for a Tiered organization. I worked at the Beach; they have a massive ego issue within the command. How anyone could see this account and not be excited to celebrate Chapman is beyond me but they’ve drawn it out for years. Disgusting.

  20. The SEALs involved with this incident are simply disgusting. The gunship was from my squadron the situation is still a sore point. Rob Harrison, now a retired CMSgt, was the DSO on board Grim that night and he fought hard to get Chappy recognized. Greta interview with Rob here.

  22. Was on a trip and didn't get to post but Thursday April 24th was the 45th anniversary of Operation Eagle Claw, the failed mission to rescue the American hostages in Iran. The mission failure led to a Joint Chiefs of Staff commission to which was established to investigate the planning, organization, and execution of the Iranian hostage rescue mission. This commission, known as the Special Operations Review Group aimed to identify areas for improvement in future special operations. The mission's failure highlighted the need for better coordination, planning, and training, ultimately leading to the creation of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). Much of the wreckage from the mission is sitting in the same place in the desert near Tabas Iran. Following the failure the survivors exfiled to Oman, when they landed they were greeted by cases of beer and a simple note from some British Civilians at the field. The note is below and is in AFSOC HQ today.

  23. Repeat drunk driver hammered off his ass middle of the day and driving to get more booze, that's who killed one of the finest warriors and family men produced by the USA. He won't last. Matt made so many people better during his too short time here, we'd all be lucky to have the same said for us. Life is precious, enjoy every minute with your loved ones.

  24. Fuck the twat who isn’t man enough to accept all that he deserves. He needs to be sent to solitary to serve out the rest of his pathetic life. Also, fuck his pissant defense attorney. I hope that guy is met with misfortune everyday for not having any sense of true justice and morality. I’m all for due process, but GMAFB.

  25. It looks kinda big and definitely gay. Lol. A stretched Bat Wing, especially without the vertical stabilizer. I wonder if there are three humans inside of that massive cockpit? Shit you could probably fit at least four fully grown Chinese in there.
