Does anybody have a T-38 Dash 1 from prior to 2008? I'm looking for the before takeoff portion of the checklist to compare against the current checklist. If you have a copy and can scan that portion, please PM me.

Saw the prior posts on FWQ but am curious what the current status is? Got a fellow switching Army helos to AF helos(reserve) and per the recent AFI he would still need to attend phase II T6s followed by MWS helo school. Anybody know how that works? He's over 30 so is it considered FWQ still or UPT or what? Age waiver required? What base is conducting this training? XL?

So what is it? A UFO? The Russians? The Chinese? NOOOOPE. Buddy finishes our normal AR with the TACAMO's and they drop into STL for transition. Hilarity ensues. ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -A mysterious white plane drew plenty of attention Tuesday afternoon near Lambert Airport and nearby Maryland Heights. The low flying four engine plane came low over ranch style homes in Edmundson and prompted some to take photographs. Janice Marienau of the 43-hundred block of Beauty in Edmundson started to photograph the plane after it flew over her family’s home three times. Then she called FOX 2 News when calls to Lambert Airport and Scott Air Force Base in Illinois …

Is there anybody here who has applied for and/or has been selected for the White House Fellowship program? I am looking for a little more gouge then what the AF application and the website have about the program; and to see if I even have a shot when the application window comes around next summer. Thanks in advance.

I just heard about the crash yesterday near Vance. I'm curious what kind of knee-jerk reaction the AF will make due to this. Irrespective, my sincere condolences to the friends and squadron mates of the Lieuteant that died.

Good thing I decided to check my email this quarter, haha. Anyone else get something similar? They are rectifying records over 7 years old, really????? Like someone would falsify an AAD? YGBSM. Anyway, just posting to check your records so you get credit for the "hard" work you put in to get your degree. ------------------ Sir, Our office is currently reviewing records for officers. This is a notification that your official transcripts were never received after the degree award date from TUI University. This degree was originally updated via a temp update, based on a letter from the registrar, which you would have requested dated 29 …

I think joint basing would work and save money if independent auditors were allowed to select the most efficient way of doing things. Either combining the AF and Army way, choosing the best process from either branch, or doing it a completely different way. Imagine airmen having having to cut grass in front of their respective buildings like the Army. What are your experiences on joint bases and does it work?https://www.google.com/amp/www.military.com/daily-news/2016/10/06/army-chief-calls-for-joint-basing-review.html%3Fvariant%3Dmobile.amp

I've seen a lot of pics with dudes sporting the CE mask and vest, and quite a few pics of guys with the CE mask but no vest. Do factors of the sortie determine whether or not the vest is worn, or is it more of a personal preference type of thing? Thanks.

Hello everyone! Does anyone have any experience or know someone with experience with crosstraining from a loadmaster to a pilot or navigator? I am pretty sure I am about to take a loadmaster position with the 136th Airlift Unit in Fort Worth, but at the same time not losing my dream of becoming a pilot or navigator. Thanks for your insight and opinions! Justin

Was thinking...would it be worth it to go in Guard/Reserve during college if it helped my pilot chances? I'm not just doing it to help my pilot chances, I think it would also just benefit me overall as a person. I have two concerns though: a) What happens in terms of deployment if it's the middle of the semester? Is the two-week deployment during the summer or is it held at any point of the year? And what field is deployed the least? I guess if I got sent somewhere in the middle of a semester I could make up credits in the summer session, but I'm sure it's be a royal pain. B) What's the deal with splitting up basic and technical between two summers that I've read about (a…

Is IFF conducted at Sheppard? If so, when I graduate will I remain at Sheppard or is there a chance I could get sent to Moody? Also at the risk of sounding clueless  where exactly would I find the boldface and Ops limits hiding if I had access to a buddy's UPT material? Thanks, Mike [ 09. I always wanted to do freefall at the academy or airborne training but I know that will be very hard to go to since there are so many cadets at Riddle that want that as well. So I was wondering is there any way you can go to jump school when you go AD? If so, how do you get it and how competitive is it? Lastly, I will be going to field training soon and I have an injured wrist. Will they let me wear a wrist guard (it's pretty small)?
