Don't agree with a lot of her politics, but this is pretty awesome. The guy she is talking to went to a West Point prep school, where he twisted his ankle (He went on to play QB at SanDiego State). He has claimed disability for it, and gotten VA small business preference, as well as the magical 30%. She totally calls him on it.

Today I went to finance and was helped by the first openly gay person I've met in uniform...except not only was he gay, he rode a pink surfboard on a rainbow wave whenever it was that he came out. Complete with nail polish, a very meticulously done goatee (I casually asked him if he had a shaving waiver, he said politely that he was working on it). Looking for help/advice on homeowners' insurance. If you've been shopping for a home on the eastern seaboard this summer, you probably know a lot of insurance companies (USAA, Allstate, State Farms) are running away screaming and won't write the policy. This is my first time straying off the USAA insurance reservation (and yes I've read the "USAA" thread) and was wondering what others have to say. USAA is directing me toward ASI. Additionally, I have a quote with Amica, who allegedly has a sterling reputation, but they seem to be TWICE as much as ASI for the same coverage. Is anyone insured with either company? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Hey guys, has anyone had to PCS with multiple cars? I am pcs'ing to Florida in a couple months and I have two cars. I will be there for about four months, then I'm PCS'ing to the West coast. I looked into the cost of shipping a car, but it would be about $1600 combined for both PCS's and I have no idea how trustworthy and safe shipping companies actually are. Has anyone found a good way to move cars around during PCS's and has anyone had experience using shipping companies to move their cars? Good, bad, and any scratches/extra miles on them? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a tablet for some GA flying. I know there are a bunch of awesome apps, like Foreflight, for the Ipad, and I saw the post on here about the new Naviator app for the Android platforms. Most of everything I have seen has been positive for the apps, but do either of these really drive the purchase of a specific tablet? I will be primarily using it for private flying and that's my main reason for wanting to buy one. As of now, I'm looking at the Samsung Galaxy 2 Tablet and any of the various Ipads. Just thought I'd post this note. I've been retired from the AF since 1993 and use TriCare as a suppliment to Medicare. The hospital in my community of 127,000 people, advised last month that as of April 1st 2013, they will no longer accept TriCare insurance. Just another indicator of things to come. Ltc. JW
