I don't think this topic has come up yet... Now that it's the holiday season and we're doing a lot of traveling, I bet lots of us are ducking into the USOs at airports all across the country. If you're military and you HAVEN'T been into a USO on a layover...well, you're missing out. These folks know how to make travel bearable. I'm sitting at DFW in the USO right now getting free highspeed wireless and charging my battery for the flight to Chicago. Dragon 1 Flight - 2 Dragon (Ship) Mission Checkrides Studs: Daenerys/Drogon & Jon/Rhaegal Daenerys - Q-1E (On altitude and shacked airspeed with great all around SA. Amazing lead.) Jon Snow - Q-3 (Worst wingman ever & horrible SA. Always out of position. No BDA checks attempted. Inconsistent support for lead during flight. Broke formation to roll in on Night King. Did not perform lost wingman procedure, which resulted in mid-air dragon collision.)

OK, this forum has generated some miracles in the past, so I'll give it a try… I am looking for a Yugo or East German bayonet for an AK-47 (specifically, an M70AB2). If anyone has any sources or knows of one at a good price, drop me a PM or post here. Not looking for a standard AK bayonet, need one in black (hence the Yugo or East German specification) and in new or near new shape. I'd prefer a Yugo, but I am not choosy if the price is decent. I've been contemplating a Galaxy tablet to replace a laptop but still need basic work functions for EPR/OPR and Lotus form. I currently use a Mac but having both Windows and Macs OS bogs down the system and the laptop is due for an upgrade anyway. Has anyone tried Lotus Forms on a Galaxy Tablet? Are the Bluetooth keyboards worth while in making this a laptop replacement? Or am I just wishing at this point? I'm tired of forking cash over to apple, but windows is horrible IMHO. As far as work goes, I don't think I have an option to avoid windows anymore unless something like this could work. Any input?

Just curious what you guys will think will happen later this week with the vote in Scotland? And if they do vote for independence, what are the positives and negatives we might see as a result in Scotland, the rest of the UK, the EU, and here in the US? My bet is that it will be a somewhat close vote (with 5-10 points), but that they remain with the UK for the near future, though this might give more steam to their independence movement vs crushing it. A strong part of me would like to see it happen, if nothing else just to see how things will shake out. Thanks to COVID I went ahead and put together a home gym. Our ANG base gym is closed until fall... Took forever to piece together with everything sold out and back-ordered online, but it's pretty sweet being able to lift at home. I've heard (read) a few folks on here say that they live in a rural setting or are thinking about living "out here." Heard about the horrible news today that famous Warbird Pilot and Air Racer Howard Pardue died after his F8F crashed on takeoff. I remember his airplane from the time I was 5 years old going to AIrshows. His solo aerobatic routine to Phantom of the Opera was one of my favorite air show acts ever!

My brother and I are going out there for the Vikes game. We'll be out there for a few days so we'll be looking for stuff to do. We don't like the normal touristy crap, unless there are some must sees. Anybody have any ideas for cool stuff to do/check out?

There is a lot of interesting discussion being brought up about how to fix Afghanistan so I thought I'd start it's own thread. So I ask you this...you're in charge either as POTUS, SECSTATE, ISAF/CC....basically somebody who can set the strategy for Afghanistan. What do you do to fix it? Do you keep the counter-insurgency strategy? Do you go for another military surge? Reconcile with the Taliban but finance them rather than having AQ finance them? Pull out?
