Ret 4 star Burke gets 6 years for bribery (see commanders dropping like flies), yet Homan walks out of a restaurant with a paper sack holding 50K in cash and gets to keep his job, etc. S/ That makes perfect sense. /S Let me ask a buddy that does consulting. Stand by....... Yep, he said that if a potential client shows up with a sack of cash, as ADM Akbar says, "Its a trap!" While Homan gets off with a technicality (more like cronyism), he was going to be in a high govt position when he took the bribe and thus his influence was bought. Yo, can we get some chemo up in here? Got some Homan syndrome growing.

Not sure if you saw the interview with Mario on Gameday. He calls it "Rat Poisoning." As Miami starts to do better and get press he fears it will leak into the locker room and poison the desire to get better and work. They have a long ways to go and yes they stumbled in the middle of the game. I give great credit to UF's defense which had only allowed two TDs from all previous opponents. Also, that single high safety screwed with Beck's progressions and reads...I guarantee that is a focus the next two weeks. Two things impressed me: 1. They were able to adjust and respond. 2. The offensive line is superb. Mario is an old school lineman who is dedicated to the run and establishing control. He will continue to lean on opponents and grind them down. How will FSU respond?

Could it possibly be that Disney executives are spineless pussies who cave to pressure from all sides? Bill Maher had a great commentary on that this past weekend, one consolation for Jimmy that he said was “well, at least you won’t have to pretend to like Disneyland anymore!”

kimmel is a fool and what he said in the moment was entirely inappropriate. it's fine that he's back on air. i wasn't a fan of what the FCC guy said...government has NO place censoring speech. Just because the Biden Admin massively censored free speech during COVID doesn't make it right. kimmel's ratings are in the trash...dude averages 160,000 views per night. he's shouting into the wind and no one cares.

No offense, but even Ms. Cleo knew you were going to post something about this. Key quote in case you didn't read the whole thing "...because [Homan] had not held an official government position at the time of the meeting with undercover agents..." It's difficult to get bribed if you have no governmental authority, one of the key elements of the crime. Also has anonymous sourcing, so excuse me if I'd like to see a bit more before I get concerned.

Well said. It's also why the democrats haven't found purchase with their various "outrages" as they search for leverage to sink the Trump behemoth: they've miscalculated how deeply pissed people are about the system they created. Dems aren't going to find a Trump tweet that turns his base against him, because we don't care about him. He's a change agent. And frankly I want more radical than I'm getting.

One of the most surreal elements of these cases is that there are always a slew of quotes from the recently-canceled supporting the cancellation of others. I know they are hypocrites, because the movement has no ideological basis, so there's no way to support it without being a hypocrite. But seriously, can't these people pay someone to tell them when they have said things that are going to make them look stupid?

Mos Def....Miami (Mario), is committed to the run, especially up the middle behind those warhorses. Beck looked off for a while, that middle high safety screwed with his head. Last night was a war, UF had some real talent of defense and they kept them in it until the 4th when Miami's O-Line finally imposed there will. The whistle to stop Miami's TD was a HORRIBLE call and would have ended the game sooner. How much longer can Billy survive? UF looked disjointed and without motivation until the 3rd, I really thought they played well and had a chance until that 80 drive that broke them. Oct 4th is going to be something, trying to decided if I am going to fly over for the game. The video below is hilarious.
