Even Bill Maher, who is anything but a conservative, called out the high profile types on the left because so many refuse to go on his show. You’re not asking for my opinion, you’re asking for the opinion of the dems who are in the senate. It is very much publicized why the two sides are at a gridlock. You definitely have been exposed to this information - or you easily could be via simple searches. It is not worth the time to explain basic public knowledge opinions that you act like they don’t exist when they very clearly do and are easily found. If you want to stop being obstinate and debate things that are well within the public sphere, I’m happy to argue nuance with you. For example, I know that a significant part of the republican justification for this bill is increase support for immigration enforcement and a significant slashing of government entitlement benefits in the name of fiscal responsibility.

Hey all, What I’m about to share, take with a very large grain of salt. I have a friend who applied and their commander was actually on the board this year and just based on a conversation we were having, although the government is shutdown, results are still being processed and potentially at final adjudication. Final adjudication means that the selection list is making its way up the chain for final approval before being released by AFPC. To me it would make no sense that the Air Force would leave a board like this up to soley gov civilians to process. There had to have been a contingency plan in place. But again, after over a decade in the Air Force, I can maybe count on one how many things have been done that makes sense lol. However, with this news and my friend actually being stationed at Randolph extremely close to AFPC, I am hopeful for results in the coming weeks.
