    I honestly don’t understand the implication here. “Power move?” How so? Trump: “Hey look, we have B-2’s and F-35s.” Putin: “yeah, I know. Cool.” Is the implication supposed to be “watch out, cause we just might use these against Russia?” Putin knows there’s zero chance of that happening. Besides, I think he’s probably much more worried about drone swarm attacks, like the kind that took out most of his bomber fleet, than he is about fat Amy. This is classic Trump. Using the military as a symbol of strength to try to mask his weakness and ineffectuality. Putin is going to get Ukrainian territory out of this, and Trump is pressuring Zelensky to surrender it to him asap. But yeah, cool air show. “Vlad, look at these static display F-22’s. Badass, huh? …..Now, go enjoy the Donbas.”

    As I recall, gave rides in the A-37 to deserving Airmen when the Wg/CC and I would fly out to Bergstrom from DMAFB. No supporting unit cept Transit Alert. I gave the brief, strapped them in, and off we went.

    Obviously you and @ClearedHot have let your imaginations run away to the extreme with my musings. That subject is a full blown, separate discussion, and I was trying to minimize the thread derail. Obviously there’d have to be carve outs for those groups (and more). The main point is if you’re a lazy ass bag who has no reason to not work, but chooses to produce zero for society while freeloading off taxpayers/your parents, you shouldn’t have a say. You need to have some skin in the game before you get a say (excluding carve out groups). More nuanced than that, but that’s the gist.

    I honestly haven't even tried to look at UH's AFROTC program because Im going to American Military University right now to speed up the college process and because it's cheaper. I can pay for the PPL out of pocket, but its a matter of how im gonna pay for the rest of the ratings after if I do go for it. yeah the economy is kinda f'd, especially in Hawaii.

    A lot of good advice on this thread wikz. I went to the U of H (majored in sailing 😁) and received my private at KHNL through the 2 yr AFROTC program. Is that not offered any more? Thought about trying out for the 199th when they had Phantoms after my AF commitment but livable job opportunities as you know in the Islands are scarce.
