Quick sidebar: I wanted to point out that PA or the esteemed editors over at Airforcetimes.com have once again absolutely nailed their reporting.

The F-16s identity as F-22s you bigots!

When I saw the post about the AF Times Thursday, I dropped the reporter a quick note.
She replied back, obviously embarrassed, and said she corrected it as soon as she saw my email.

I just saw Huggy on YouTube. All I can say is don’t misidentify a Dragonfly as a Tweet.

There's not much that bothers me more than Air Force PA / journalists botching aircraft visrecce. I can understand the occasional nonner poster with flanker clip art but the people whose literal core job is to report factually on the mission we do is a bridge too far. @HuggyU2 you're a far better man than I.  FFS the F-22 has never been stationed at Shaw and Looks absolutely nothing like a viper

This is what is wrong with the Air Force (and the Air National Guard)

Oklahoma Air National Guard and Air National Guard leadership conspire to break the law after pilot dies

‘Yes men’ at work…nothing to see here, move along (accessions/attrition that is)…

a deep level of mistrust exists, one for some that has been brewed for at least 2 decades…that will not buff out for a few generations, that is the accessions’ headwind senior leaders are facing. A headwind of their own manufacturing by decisions past, many from ‘yes people’

Standing by a rebuttal from the vaccine apologists in the crowd..

Working out a messaging strategy to reduce vaccine hesitancy isn't breaking the law. I didn't see anything in these emails that breaks the law. I see senior leaders recognizing the cultural and legal hurdles they have to overcome and trying to find solutions. Like getting the branded vaccine so that service members can't claim its the experimental version.

The vaccine has definitely fallen short of what was promised, but painting any discussion of how to move people towards taking it as "breaking the law" isn't helpful to your cause.

Great headline, was looking forward to the smoking gun. Now I’m wondering if the possibility might exist that it has nothing to do with the evidence it presents. The email screenshots literally say:

Person 1: “We’re struggling to meet this requirement because of reasons. Can you answer some of these questions?”

Person 2: “We’d love to help you.”

Person 3: Answers one of the questions.

Where did the law-breaking conspiracy occur?

understatement of the year!

and STILL being promised...

I concur with Pawnman and Hugo regarding legalities. But morally/ethically I think this leadership is being just as shitty as everyone above them still trying to shove a bullshit vax down people’s throats. Let it go and stop trying to force something useless (and harmful to some in the short term, unknown long term) on people who don’t want it. There is nothing logical about continuing down this road, especially at this point.

We still have a DoD mandate. This isn't the first dumb thing, and won't be the last dumb thing, commanders are charged with getting done.

The ire here is directed at the wrong people. If you really think we shouldn't have a covid vaccine mandate, direct that at your elected officials.

it's absolute BS (which you know and why you asked the question)...the caption doesn't even match the 'description' on the chart 😂

The numbers are from where they claim to be from, but it accidentally ignores the denominators (rates). https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-coronavirus-vaccines/fact-check-graph-showing-englands-covid-19-death-statistics-misrepresents-impact-of-vaccines-idUSL1N2Z10I3

It’s like saying F-16 pilots are worse at flying than RQ-4 pilots because the Viper has had more Class As. Lazy, but hey I guess whatever info validates your preconceived notions is good data.

It’s all besides the point though; no need to turn this into the world’s trillionth vaccine efficacy pissing match. I think the point is if the author titled his article “AF Leadership is Just as Shitty as Everyone Above Them,” then it’d have a little more merit than the whole “sinister plot exposed!” angle.

Yeah no sinister plot when billions of dollars are at play. Big pharma and cdc acting as angels nothing to see here!

Also the vax was PROMISED to prevent “severe illness or death”

which clearly is false.

So do your part and argue in good faith with valid statistics.  It's pretty simple.  You lose any and all credibility (and become who you're trying to fight) by not doing due diligence in what you're sharing.

And you lose all credibility standing behind any vax mandate

a vax that clearly at best doesn’t do what it’s advertised to do and at worst is having tragic consequences for thousands of people

If the data is true, I don’t find the graphic surprising. It makes sense, to me, that the most vulnerable individuals would do everything possible to mitigate their risk of death. The unfortunate reality is that the vaccines are marginally effective and the chance of infection remains high.

You're a clown.  I haven't said anything on the mandate.  I for sure haven't spread "fake news" on it.
