Taking the TBAS next week and doing some studying, I have the orientation section down pretty good when the yellow arrow is pointing towards a cardinal direction, but I’m confused when it gets diagonal. Anyone have any info? Links to articles or videos work too. Want to get it down cold. Any other TBAS tips appreciated.

Looking at the ****pit photo of the T-38C. Underneath center MFD and beyond the stick is something that says PUSH. Anyone know a link to point me to the layout of this ****pit? Or if you know off hand what that is for. I have the photo as my desktop background and it just stares back at me PUSH! Pretty annoying now not knowing what it does. Data cartridge? DVD Player? Cup holder? HA. Thanks

Hey guys/gals, I'm trying to get a handle on the terminology with respect to 'boards." I just got a C5 slot at my home base, and I am a civilian applicant. The next pilot boards are in June or July I believe, so pending good news there, I should expect dates for OTS some time after that. I have read a lot, and hear the term OTS boards/applicant. I that term just used for AD guys? If not, are the biannual pilot boards the same thing? Thanks!

Hey guys here's my story. When I was ten I got ticketed by a fish and game cop for shooting jackrabbits with my shotgun. Then when I was fifteen, I got caught shooting a deer one day out of season and got fined by another fish and game cop. It wasn't a big deal, they fined me $150.00 and told me to go on my way. I didn't go to court or anything like that either. Basically, my dad took care of it and I forgot all about it. Anyway, here's my question. Currently, there is a background investigation going on for my UPT slot and I didn't tell anyone at my unit about this. With the chance of sounding like a complete moron: What do the numbers mean after the Pilot/Nav training classes? (i.e. Class 0553) I know they signify what class you are in but do they actually have any meaning?

Anyone else see this video from the Blue Angles in Detroit. Some guy with a drone got pretty damn close to these guys. Not to mention he's waaaay above legal drone height. The tallest building in Detroit is 727" and it looks like he's well above that. The OP took down his video (that had his name all over it) but someone else posted it up. Some people are not that bright.

Libyan Rebels Are Flying Their Own Minidrone

I have been unable to access the Aircrew Pubs Library either on .mil computers or at home for several weeks now. This was really nice to be able to access at home since I'm a Guardsman and live away from the Guard Base. Anybody else have this problem? or did they take the site down when we went to iPads?

If you were a new Lt. on casual somewhere, would you be able to do a job on the weekend outside of the AF such as bartending? It seems that you would have the time and I wouldn't see why you couldnt. Just curious.
