On "The wingman" track, the dude talks about 2 getting the lead on the right, and tag lead...what does that stuff mean?

"The OTA will be for a five-year technology demonstration of an airship with three weeks' endurance, a 2,500lb payload with 16kW of power, and an operating altitude of 25,000ft, 80kt dash speed and 20kt station-keeping speed. The payload will include EO/IR sensors, SAR/GMTI radar and Sigint, plus communications relay." There's few things that should be unmanned. This is one of them. I was most surprised by the "20kt station-keeping." Somebody is optimistic about winds aloft! All that endurance could get us great intel as our Gucci ISR/EW systems drift into hostile areas... Hey Everyone, I am currently in AFROTC and will be commissioning on 16 Dec 2011, my Entrance into active duty is on 17 Dec 2011. I am being stationed at Whiting Field NAS. I have a few questions and I was hoping someone can answer some of these: -I will be moving with my wife and 8 month old son to Whiting Field, where is the best place to live? -Have they fully transitioned from T-34's to T-6's? -What is the training environment like? -How many AF students per class? -Are there any AF IP's? Any other information would be helpful. Thank you!

Taking the TBAS next week and doing some studying, I have the orientation section down pretty good when the yellow arrow is pointing towards a cardinal direction, but I’m confused when it gets diagonal. Anyone have any info? Links to articles or videos work too. Want to get it down cold. Any other TBAS tips appreciated.

Looking at the ****pit photo of the T-38C. Underneath center MFD and beyond the stick is something that says PUSH. Anyone know a link to point me to the layout of this ****pit? Or if you know off hand what that is for. I have the photo as my desktop background and it just stares back at me PUSH! Pretty annoying now not knowing what it does. Data cartridge? DVD Player? I'm curious if in the near future the Air National Guard will get the F15E. Hey guys/gals, I'm trying to get a handle on the terminology with respect to 'boards." I just got a C5 slot at my home base, and I am a civilian applicant. The next pilot boards are in June or July I believe, so pending good news there, I should expect dates for OTS some time after that. I have read a lot, and hear the term OTS boards/applicant. I that term just used for AD guys? If not, are the biannual pilot boards the same thing? Thanks!

If you were a new Lt. on casual somewhere, would you be able to do a job on the weekend outside of the AF such as bartending? It seems that you would have the time and I wouldn't see why you couldnt. Just curious.

Can anyone point to a specific audio cable to record ics/radios for GoPro video? Specifically looking for the C17. I’ve found a few “military/helo” cables, but not sure if those are synonymous with high impedance of the C17. Cheers
