The Next President is...
Forcing TRT, pinning total and free T scores against a performance rubric, wing-wide T numbers posted in the daily stand-up...there's all sorts of ways this could lead to fuckery...and yet that doesn't appear to be what's going on. Instead, it seems SecWar has directed the medical establishment to broaden the routine medical scope to include some important biomarkers, that have been traditionally ignored. Wouldn't be surprised if there are other markers included, but the MSM is target fixated on T because, well, muh patriarchy!!!

Gun Talk
I always questioned whether or not they could kill the NFA, but they appear on the brink of doing so. What happens if the next admin is from the DNC...stack the court and re-adjudicate everything? Or do they just do an executive order to take all guns. They already want to disband the Senate...interesting times.

COVID-19 (Aka China Virus)
One must ask why Dr. Fauci would invoke the Fifth Amendment if he has already received a pardon. For years, the American people were told to simply trust the experts. Yet serious questions remain about the origins of COVID-19, gain-of-function research, and what government officials knew and when they knew it. Dr. Fauci has faced sustained criticism over his public statements regarding U.S. funding of research involving coronaviruses and whether that research met the definition of gain-of-function. Those questions deserve transparency and honest answers. A pardon does not answer those questions. It does not explain decisions that affected millions of lives, businesses, schools, and families. If there is nothing more to hide, the American people deserve a full accounting of what happened. History should be based on facts, transparency, and accountability—not unanswered questions. The Iran thread
Supporting this quagmire feels like peak sports team style support for your preferred political side. I voted for Trump all three times and I am still thankful to this day that Kamala Harris is not the president. But there has been plenty to criticize the Trump admin about this term as well, the Iran shit show being chief among them.

COVID-19 (Aka China Virus)
He’s sitting in front of congress pleading the 5th right now. The covid saga can’t be allowed to be buried in the pages of history. We must know the truth.

The Iran thread
No sorry it went pretty much exactly how I thought it would go. -50% deflection/appeals to "media narrative" or "librul media" -30% arguments that genuinely make no sense -10% semantic technicalities -10% reluctant agreement -and a bonus cherry on top of a little more security clearance dick measuring But I will say one thing positive thing. Bravo on the formatting. This is wayyy better than our norm here of blowing up the thread with mega posts that have a dozen sub quotes and responses. Collapsible quote format is genius. Am I taking crazy pills or was midnight hammer not chapter 1 in this whole stupid story? Lets review. Midnight hammer happened in June of 2025. 3 months after that statement. Not a year. After that operation we claimed we "obliterated" their nuclear program. So you're going to look at me with a straight face and say that after we assessed they weren't building a nuke, and then we subsequently "obliterated" the nuke they WEREN'T building... "things changed" ... and 9 months after that not only are building a nuke but the threat was even more imminent than before we obliterated the program? And then how do you square that argument with this one: So they weren't building a nuke.. then we attacked them a whole bunch.. and "things changed" and now they are building a nuke.. but don't worry this isn't a more hardline regime. Please make it make sense. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ And then I just had to include this one. Reminds me of when somebody in here claimed the strait wasn't closed because like 5% of normal traffic was making it through. Just straight up semantic bs completely dodging the core argument. okay you got me dude, we signed a dogshit Memorandum of Understanding, not a dogshit deal. ..that trump got promptly ripped for by all sides including the zionists because of how comically lopsided and poorly worded it was in Iran's favor. Is nitpicking "deal" vs. "memo" really getting to the crux of the issue here? Hmmm lemme see if I can rephrase: why was the MEMO we signed so favorable to Iran? Could that possibly shed some light on our relative negotiating positions at the time? I'll leave you to chew on those two first, and maybe if we can take the semantic blinders off and genuinely engage with arguments in a meaningful way we can get to items further down the list.

I understand your concern, and I share it. But, being in an uproar about T screening is to be against extremely mainstream healthcare in the civ world, and to be linear, you might as well start rallying against HIV testing also (why does 95% of the mil need that…I made that number up, but you get the point). If they start forcing TRT, I’ll pick up a pitch fork next to you. But until then, this was simply media-created rage bait with zero actual substance.

100%. The only immediate appeal of a guard/res gig for someone punching from AD at their ADSC is the ability to pad a junior airline schedule to get more time at home with the family. That benefit is completely out the window if the odds are high you’ll get stuck on a combat deployment with no end date- Gun Talk
Except it's not working at all. The first assault weapons ban was in in 1993, and States like Illinois and California are just trying to get back to that baseline. Bruen an earthquake, and Rahimi is being corrected. We look to be on the cusp of the legalization of high capacity magazines and all semi automatic rifles in all states. After 100 years the NFA has been de-taxed, and suppressors may be next. FRTs are spreading like wildfire and the govt is afraid to go after them because of the bump stock ruling. As far as wars of attrition go, for the first time in my life they are objectively losing.- Which is harder, AF UPT or Army flight school?
I would say Air Force UPT is harder academically and faster paced, while Army flight school tests your patience with culture and lower standards.- MANPADS at LGA?
Better than my current employer. We could actively take a missile and the company would send you to a termination hearing for taxiing in too slow.- MANPADS at LGA?

The Guard and Reserves are gonna have a huge retention problem, IMO. Everyone I know who is retirement eligible is punching the second they can. It was already a funky math problem to get the numbers to work in the favor of military when compared to current airline pay but, add in never ending deployments in even worse conditions than before with a much higher risk factor in an unpopular conflict with unknown objectives... Yea, I think most people would rather risk being furloughed than that. And, anecdotally, a lot of my buddies leaving AD aren't even trying for ANG/AFRC jobs. Just straight cut to the airlines.- What's wrong with the Air Force?
The other stupid shit of going out to a ramp of 60 KC-135s and instead of looking at a tail number for the right jet, I guess just spend time to look at every jet’s forms until you get to the right one? I guess Mini didn’t realize that if the CAF wasn’t doing his dumb ass tail number and callsign shit, the MAF probably didn’t need to either.- What's wrong with the Air Force?
The random callsign generator for stateside ops is the dumbest shit [On the phone with the tanker unit] “Cool we’ll see you guys at AR6969 CT1500z, what’s your callsign?” “Oh we don’t get our callsign until step” … “Well our step is before yours so I guess we’ll just show up to the track and hope we have the right guys 🤷🏻♂️”- What's wrong with the Air Force?
Mini was only respected by slick Herk dudes. This is also the same idiot who took tail flashes off active-duty AMC aircraft because apparently China doesn't use ADS-B and stopped the use of static callsigns for homestation training sorties. He's also the guy who greenlighted a one-pilot KC-46 flight. The same aircraft that has numerous CAT-I deficiencies. Removing tail flashes and not holding Boeing to the fire over the KC-46 is not really the future threat (China) planning that he liked to yap about.- Gun Talk
Unfortunately it's a feature, not a bug, of the anti-gun states. They're baking the court costs into their calculus, and passing unconstitutional legislation anyway. It's a long term war of attrition.- What's wrong with the Air Force?
Slife was universally hated but Mini was generally well respected I think? Curious to your thoughts.- WTF? (**NSFW**)
Yep. I think maybe one of the ugliest things coming, and I don't mean ugly as in wrong, I just mean it's going to be turbulent and brutal, is the termination of legal immigration to the United States. It wasn't even on my radar until recently when someone who had just written a book about it was making the podcast circuits, and pointed out that a lot of what we're seeing today was happening in the early 1900s, and it was a couple decades of functionally zero immigration that re-enabled the cultural integration machine. Turns out, people don't integrate into a new society if you give them a steady stream of new immigrants from their original cultures. It happened with the varying European cultures back before the world wars, and it's happening with the varying third world cultures today. The H-1B is just a particularly cartoonish example of what goes wrong when you turn immigration policy into a global Utopia issue rather than a pragmatic issue of national interests. All right- WTF? (**NSFW**)

My issue with all this is it’s just performative right wing macho virtue signaling. They’re also starting idiotic force shaping initiatives during a war where they’re gonna need everyone they can get. The mass exodus this Iran debacle is going to cause will be one for the history books. I’ll put my flag in the sand right now and say in 2-3 yrs there will be severe manning shortages in the military. And while the media is off deep diving on Pete’s low t initiatives that probably only apply to 5% of the force over the age of 40-45, Pete is busy misrepresenting our capabilities and progress to the president wrt the current conflict- 2027 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
