I honestly haven't even tried to look at UH's AFROTC program because Im going to American Military University right now to speed up the college process and because it's cheaper. I can pay for the PPL out of pocket, but its a matter of how im gonna pay for the rest of the ratings after if I do go for it. yeah the economy is kinda f'd, especially in Hawaii.

A lot of good advice on this thread wikz. I went to the U of H (majored in sailing đ) and received my private at KHNL through the 2 yr AFROTC program. Is that not offered any more? Thought about trying out for the 199th when they had Phantoms after my AF commitment but livable job opportunities as you know in the Islands are scarce.

I agree. Just saying it is not invalid to say the vast majority of women are not going to handle combat in the way men can. Thatâs not sexist, itâs a biological-driven fact. Iâve also flown with good female pilots and have a positive view of them.

Point of order - financial status has nothing to do with my proposition, having a job does. If you donât work/pay taxes, Iâm fine with you not having a say. Get a job at McDs if you want to vote, not too much to ask. Also to get ahead of the follow up question, itâs reasonable that your spouse can vote if you work (gender neutral statement). If youâre 20 and living in your parents basement without a job, you donât get to vote.

This is why I don't think it's more nuanced. Has he broken the law in relation to women in the military, no? Does he hold an opinion contrary to common Western values, yes. Your Mormon example is apples to oranges. I'm talking about a leader that holds beliefs contrary to common western values. In your example an individual wouldn't do the job, easy kill. I'm talking about a commander with a specific set of values that doesn't align with common Western beliefs.
