  2. Good, we need less bureaucratic layers and the bureaucrats that come with them. Maybe it will also help reduce the constant desire to spread us all over the world doing all the things all the time.

  4. @Lord Ratner I hear you and generally agree. But, I don’t consider Trump unserious. He’s very serious about many topics. His unserious trolling and other character flaws do not make his seriousness in many areas not exist. @17D_guy My point is they ALL are flawed, and in most cases, shitty people to varying degrees. Truly “good dudes” don’t run for office and don’t make it to the federal level (save a few outliers). Since basically no good core humans exist at the fed level, might as well put the emotion aside and look at plans, policies, voting records, results, etc. That’s the shit that affects us. The personality type stuff is for the reality TV-overloaded smooth brains who think purely emotionally and not logically.

  8. You said it wrong: In America how could personality NOT be the ENTIRE political question?

  11. How could "personality" not ever be part of the political question?
  12. Politics reflect the population, not the other way around. We have an unserious president because we have an unserious population, and that's not going to change until something serious happens to force them out of the delusion. Ironically, unserious politicians are going to accelerate the drive towards whatever ultra serious situation lies ahead.

  14. Not if people prioritize policy, actions, results, etc. over a personality contest. That said, much of America is incapable of unemotional logic/critical thought, so yeah, probably wise to bet on the emotions winning out. Hopefully I’m wrong on that.

Was their original name TILF and they had to make up new words for the acronym? I wonder what the original T was? Terrorist? Teacher? Tranny?

  17. Just wait. He didn't even make it a year before relapsing into full-on Trump mode. Three more years and anyone with a pulse running against Republicans will win in a landslide
  18. Pretty dumb post, wish he would just keep these thoughts to himself. Alas, it’s impossible.
  19. Damn dude, less than a day and already being a douche.

  22. AWACS had a similar problem in the early 80's, they were using body bags out of Thailand flown on a C-130s to Kadena then bags of black tar heroin were put on E-3's to Tinker. Had AIC's buying homes and cars for cash in OKC until the DEA figured out how 100% pure stuff was in Oklahoma. Lots of Op's and MX guys went down hard, so much they couldn't fly the schedule and flooded MX with new 3 levels straight out of tech school. That's how my career started.

I have never purchased a firearm from the MCX because as their selection is extremely limited. I am not positive. The one time I have done that I have not, but it was my friend who has a firearm business. He built me a nice Tikka T3X hunting rifle in 6.5 PRC. I didn't have to pay the surcharge on that purchase.

Do you still have to pay that tax if you buy online and ship to an FFL? I've never paid any sales tax doing that, but then again, I've never lived in a commune like CA.

I haven’t purchased anything since last year.. do you have to pay that surcharge if you buy at an AAFES or MCX?
