This reminds me of last time we deployed. We took a 777 contracted rotator out to the desert.  All of us were waiting for hours of course in the pax terminal.  There was this sadistic Lt Col who was t

webmail links, try these, lemme know

-External is for a personal computer or a government computer, connected to commercial internet, not using VPN

https://cp.mail.us.af.mil

-Internal URL is for your government computer connected to base network or using commercial internet connection with VPN

https://webmail.apps.mil

Question for computer savvy folks out there:

Every time I try to access webmail via https://cp.mail.us.af.mil I keep receiving the following error

"cp.mail.us.af.mil’s server IP address could not be found.

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN"

This link was working fine up until a couple of days ago.  I am using a Mac with OS Sierra 10.12.6.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.  no luck with that either.

They've changed it recently. Use https://web.mail.us.af.mil/owa and it should redirect you to the correct url for your physical location. Militarycac.com is my go to for the correct link when the one I'm using inevitably stops working.

Did you try it in Microsoft Edge?

Only browser that seems to let me access anything related to the portal or email.

I was able to get it working by resetting google Chrome and using the owa address.  This past summer it was the owa address that died on me and that is why I started using the other URL (cp.mail.us.af.mil), which I saw someone post about earlier last year.

Thanks all for the help.  Cheers!

Sweet irony:  the attempted refresh of the "What's right with the Air Force?" thread to get it back on track and out of the DTS, GTC, and Email ditch shows a real sweet re-enlistment of a Vermont Guardsman.   Go Guard!!

I didn't know OSI was well versed in electrical fires. I thought the fire department deals with determining the cause.

Housing Electrician: Hold my beer while I drill through a live wire with a nail.

OSI: The fire was the result of heating up a hot pocket.

Gen: It was an electrical fire.

OSI: You are right sir, it was an electrical fire.

I guess we'll have to wait and find out what happens to him to know if this is "what's right with the Air Force" or "what's wrong with the Air Force".

Proving once again that shoe-clerk is a state of mind, not an AFSC.

Reddit users meet with CMSAF
So, those same Redditors who asked questions during the AMA were invited to the Pentagon to talk face-to-face with Chief Wright.  This link is a summary from one of the attendees.
