2 hours ago2 hr So afraid. This forum is disproportionately “conservatives,” - read populists - and it’s telling how no one is engaging here. You guys may be in a cult if you can’t explain yourself more than that. It’s a more socially acceptable cult - one in which you get to have cookouts with your white friends and go to church and feel like you’re normal - but it’s fundamentally a group where you avoid critical discussion or introspection to avoid being socially outcast. It would be hilarious if you were a self governing commune, but you’re fuc*ing up the country. You guys talk condescendingly on here about how people won’t debate beliefs, but then when they do you can’t talk about what principles specifically you care about. Your literal only response is a fallacy: “Dems would be worse.” It’s the 5 year old putting his fingers in his ears. You guys don’t even introspect and try to make the R candidate better. Because “Dems would be worse.”Results in your position boiling down to “Welp, yeah. I don’t like the admin making billions in office and starting another forever war that’s just like Russia Ukraine and covering up and lying about the Epstein files and increasing the deficit and exploding the debt even though they’ve promised to decrease it and increasing inflation and doing nothing to make the middle class better and lying constantly on social media and saying that the first and fourteenth amendments should be suspended and trying to force folks off the air and keeps saying they will run for a third term. But obviously the dems would have covered up the Epstein Files more and made more cryptocurrencies in office and tripled inflation way more and definitely would have started 5 forever wars and they would force my labradoodle to get a sex change 😱 and they would install Obama again. Even though all historical data discounts this.” Your position is, ironically, one that is created purely due to fear.Name your core beliefs that make Talarico a worse candidate than Paxton.Name your principles that invalidate Mark Kelly as the president. Compare it to the retards you would select.Explain why Thomas Massie was a bad conservative. Edited 2 hours ago2 hr by Negat0ry
34 minutes ago34 min Most of us are simply sick of this thread. Your post is exactly why. You’re literally begging to have someone to argue with. It’s pathetic.Head over to reddit. They’ll engage with you. You can get your feels there.
14 minutes ago14 min Engaging with you (and some others) is a waste of time (and here I am…), simply because you are effectively what you just accused “everyone else” of being. The opposite of what you claimed is pretty apparent here - you have a lot of conservatives who are not happy about some things the admin does or says, are happy about some of the things the admin does/says, and recognize that current state of the main stream dem party is alarmingly bad if you give a shit at all about the founding principles and morals of this country. I know it sucks to hear a “well it’s the best of two meh options,” but unfortunately that’s where we’re at for a lot of the country currently. So instead of being a condescending, self righteous douche on the internet, can you please put your effort into unfucking the dem party and candidates at least at your local level? What do I define as “unfucking? - candidates and platforms that align with American values and an America first agenda (and I don’t mean that to be Trump’s slogan, just in general) - care about our country and citizens first before you care about others. We should simply have a different opinion on how to achieve that with things like healthcare, insurance, housing, etc. We should be debating policy differences to achieve a more or less shared goal, not be after significantly different desired end states (e.g. ram socialism/communism down people’s throats vs. at least attempt to maintain our constitutional republic). Personally I think the only viable solution is a 3rd party - kick the socialists/far left out of the dems and make them be their own party. They can still peddle their bullshit all they want, but at least the Dems can get back to the 90s/early 2000s (which surprise, would actually align with some of Trump’s policies, because he’s not far right/ultra conservative in the slightest; he and 69% of the country appear that way only because of how insanely far left the dem party has been hijacked in the last 15 years).
