Honestly, I would be wary of precious metals right now. They have grown a lot very fast and are due to drop. I'd say they are pretty close to as high as they are going to get. Nothing worse than riding the wrong side of a financial wave.

It looks a like a good friend of mine is going to get screwed over on her move. Basically our ROTC det stops doing ANYTHING the day after we graduate. She has already entered active duty, is currently TDY enroute at ASBC on her way to Minot. She hasn't talked to TMO or anything about moving. All of her stuff is in storage in Illinois. Is it too late for her to call up TMO to get a partial dity rolling? She has a bunch of furniture and highly doubts she could pull off a full dity...She will have about a two day lay over between finishing up ASBC and starting her track to Minot (she graduates ASBC in about 5 weeks). Is she going to get hosed?

I was in high school. I remember hearing about it in English and class thinking pretty much the same thing, it was a mistake and must have been a small airplane. Next class was TV Broadcasting and we were glued to the TV. I remembered skipping my following classes. When we heard about the Pentagon I rushed to call my Aunt (her son, my cousin) was a Navy Flag Lieutenant at the time and worked in the Pentagon. Found out later in the day his admiral and their staff wasn't in the office that day, luckily.

Nice to always have solid proof of the media bias. I know tons of people that think Fox is biased but all the other services aren't.

Or we could just solve the problem and have a FUNCTIONAL uniform... And I am a firm believer that there is no ONE universal uniform. The Marines were right. There is no magical uniform that will have good concelability properties in both the desert and the jungle/woods. As much as we love saving $ look at what this uniform fiasco is doing? Costing more money!

How the hell do they think that thing is going to get 540 KIAS?! That has to be a joke. Currently the record holder for "The fastest single engine turboprop" is the XA2D Shyshark and is well over40 KIAS slower...(500 mph). So throwing up a giant BS flag.
