Maybe the things he saw in the AF were some of our biggest blights.... botched acquisition programs, hopeless bureaucracy, senior leaders with a severe sense of entitlement, ridiculous personnel programs, and some pretty highly-publicized embarrassments.

To add to the list: -Duty titles that include the words "Assistant Deputy..." -Random exec/aide taskings from the AFPC robot with requirements/preferences for WOs. Really?

Any updates on the J conversion? Last I had heard the closing of the Keesler unit was not a sure thing anymore, there alone the placement of the iron (KPOB vs LRF) should it actually happen.

Been with them for years. $800K in coverage for about $35/month. My spouse also has a policy with them (she's not military) for the same premium and coverage. AAFMAA is great. -

Lawman, does the aviation branch have a school equivalent to USAFWS that focuses on tactics and integration? Just curious since Army Aviation is directly tied to GFCs, and you guys (doctrinally, at least) integrate with the other branches in your service as you plan/execute. -
