    Similar point, did a career day at my daughter’s school with G suit, harness, helmet. Boys were only asking questions until I brought up girls can be pilots too and my sister is a military pilot as well. Blew their minds.

    It’s so weird that rpa-only pilots always throw out they are pilots, when they aren’t. An Air Force pilot when through some type of UPT. An rpa pilot may be an AF pilot or may be an AF rpa-only pilot.

    I think it’s more of the phase America went through that shut down insane asylums/mental health institutions. Many of the homeless that would be committed/cared for are now on the streets.

    This is the same gate keeping that says only 11Fs can teach T-6/T-38 line abreast formation (read tactical). Granted a lot of non-11Fs (and even some 11Fs) suck at it initially, but it’s a skill that be gained/instructed.
