    Background of students. There were so many additional sorties that in reality the course was under resourced. Pilots that haven’t hand flown much since pilot training did not do well in a syllabus that was originally primarily designed for 11Fs with a smattering of 11Bs There are now front seat contact (transition) and formation progress checks before rear cockpit flying after in the IQ check. UIPs that can’t hack it are cut before wasting resources.

    Yes. The course is now over 6 months which requires a secretarial waiver to be TDY.

    I think it was an agreement between Beech and the USAF before we had our demo team. Not sure though. We may not have accepted it yet and got it cheaper

    That T-6 that Patty flew is at CBM. Talking to the FCF guys there, it always has problems. Apparently it was over-G’d constantly during her demos.

    They aren’t timeline obsessed. HAF/A3 has provided an order to produce. Which AETC can’t do anyways because the s-rate for the T-6 and T-38 is in the shitter.

    I think the issue is the pilot was not a certified demo pilot and it was ad hoc.

    Army enlisted have hard times finding careers post enlistment. Skills don’t translate and there is a stigma. The AF provides highly technical training to a lot of the force.

    Yes. FBF SGTO #1 is running at CBM this summer. Until bombers go T-1s/AMF-S only and stop flying T-38s completely.

    Yes the T-38 isn’t a T-6. A T-38 can also go past 90* at 500 AGL.
