  2. the SPO is now talking about procuring Block 80s for USAF... if procured, they'll have CFTs.
  3. In 2007 the F-16 unit at Eielson had the Sandy mission on their doc statement. I flew a CSARTF in support of a Sandy 2 upgrade. The briefing the day prior did not go well, and the F-16 tactical DNIF'd and didn't fly, and it ended up being a fully qualified set of Sandy pilots, and went off without a hitch (we weren't aware of the tactical DNIF until after the sortie, ha!). One of the squadron F-16 pilots played Jack and had a great time in the back of the helo after we picked him up and went yanking and banking through the valleys. That was the only time I ever saw the FW symbol on my RWR, because keeping radar lock was the only way they could keep track of us. They didn't bingo out before the pickup, so I consider that a win.

  5. Do cheap and easy to maintain L-39s across the Air Force. Easy to get checked out in, good stick and rudder flying, a good stable platform and can do formation, tactical, pattern work, and navigation. There are a couple L-39s at my home airport and the owner flies a few times a month. Fuel is higher right now, so he’s not flying as often right now, but compared to any of our operational aircraft it’s a fraction of a penny on the dollar per flight hour. Put a few (3-6) L39s on every single base with aircraft and triple turn each jet daily (1.5 to 2 hr) with two pilots per flight. A couple of designated IPs for checkouts, check rides, etc. A few contract maintenance A&Ps. You could even do the old school ACE cross country trips for weekends. This is bringing back some good memories from Plattsburgh ACE days.

Another option. Throw him in the tiger pen
  9. Exactly! Just get someone without the heavy Austrian accent for the play by play and no catch phrases allowed.

    So who's #1 now?
  14. Doing very well is subjective. How many national championships did Ole Miss win under him? Surely a head coach of his caliber has some, right?
  15. He did very well at Ole Miss. I love that he is getting social justice.

I don't have specifics for you, but you definitely want to be on the Macon/Forsyth side of things. Forsyth would be a longer drive than you might want to do daily (45-50 min) but that's where everyone is moving from the Macon Warner Robins area. Oh, and don't speed on 129.

    Thanks.
  19. How does Kiffin keep getting HC jobs? He hasn't won shit since he was with FAU.
  20. Take a chunk of dessert in the Nevada ranges and handcuff someone like Bundy in a working vehicle. Truck, tank, whatever. Let him roam around the range and you've got a realistic target. Put it on Pay per View with proceeds going to families of the victims or similar charity. It's a Win-Win-Win scenario. Dirtbag is gone, training squares filled, and families helped.
  21. Woman sues state and OHP trooper over excessive force claims | KFOR.com Oklahoma City Supposedly she didn't even have warrants after all. Yet OHP is trying to justify it saying she didn't "comply" and "resisted"
  22. ...sigh At the end of the day, I think this deputy (and cops writ-large), are tee'd up for these kinds of failures by design. Statute, case law, policy, training, and leadership. It's a soft-statism that manifests itself into a mindset that they can go anywhere, do anything, and at the slightest hint of discomfort, escalate to violence without fear of consequence. And it's reinforced and enabled by judges, or in this case, by a well-intentioned jury that at an individual level wants in their heart to support service to law enforcement. Mark my words: this very same situation, played out tomorrow, would result in the same outcome, within a rounding error of 100%.

We joked about putting Ted Bundy in a truck on the range at Hurbie

Not ideal I agree. If we can get a lot of these into circulation before the stars potentially align (which may be years) to bring back a tax/registration it should be really difficult to undo as a practical matter. I mean how many people actually registered when they tried it with pistol braces?

You can leave God out of it if it helps. Executing a completely innocent human versus executing a human who has been convicted of heinous crimes shouldn’t be too big a stretch to wrap your brain around why some of us are cool with that.

    Truth!

Not really. The bible is very clear about murder (don’t do it) and also being unrelenting against evil, including holding it accountable via death and destruction. I know you didn’t mention the bible specifically, but pro life and Christianity go hand in hand, so that’s why I brought it up.

Kentucky’s head coach…Oh, and Arch Manning still throws the ball like Uncle Rico.
  29. I've known guys to shoot down the telephone poles holding up the strafe rags after getting a bad score. So, strapping the excretable jihadi wannabe to a pole on the range is doable. 4 ship with 6 BDUs. Best CEA over three events on the conventional circle gets the first 100 round gun pass on the convicted dirt bag with standard 2000 foot cease fire.

Can the firing squad be an A-10?
