  4. An Update from President Mark A. Welsh III General (Ret.) Mark A. Welsh III President September 9, 2025 Members of the Aggie Family, I am reaching out today to follow up on a statement I distributed through social media yesterday regarding an ongoing issue with one of our 16,000 course sections. I directed the Provost to remove the College of Arts and Sciences Dean and English Department Head from their administrative positions. This afternoon, following full consideration of the facts related to this situation, I directed the Provost to terminate the professor involved, effective immediately. Please understand that these decisions were mine alone and were not made lightly. While I cannot provide all the details at this time, I will share the following facts. This summer, a children’s literature course contained content that did not align with any reasonable expectation of standard curriculum for the course. After this issue was raised, college and department leadership worked with students to offer alternative opportunities for students to complete the course, and made changes to ensure this course content does not continue in future semesters. At that time, I made it clear to our academic leadership that course content must match catalog descriptions for each and every one of our course sections. However, I learned late yesterday that despite that directive, the college continued to teach content that was inconsistent with the published course description for another course this fall. As a result, I took the above administrative actions, and deans and department heads will conduct an audit of course offerings to ensure they align with the course descriptions. Our students use the published information in the course catalog to make important decisions about the courses they take in pursuit of their degrees. If we allow different course content to be taught from what is advertised, we break trust with our students. When it comes to our academic offerings, we must keep faith with our students and with the state of Texas. This isn’t about academic freedom; it’s about academic responsibility. Our degree programs and courses go through extensive approval processes, and we must ensure that what we ultimately deliver to students is consistent with what was approved. Texas A&M is a great university — the best in the world. This is a place that honors academic freedom and academic responsibility. It’s also a place that unequivocally abides by state and federal law. Together, we will remain committed to our Aggie Core Values and providing our students with the education and experience they deserve. r/mark General (Ret.) Mark A. Welsh III, President In short a professor was teaching content in a Children's Literature Class in direct opposition to a new Texas law that there are more than two genders. A student objects and the prof tells them to leave. Well done Boomer!

  5. Nothing about that looks like a Hellfire hitting anything. So for those of you here who regularly watched hellfires hitting targets in IR, does this look like it? The hellfire comes in from the left. It looks like the hellfire is moving *very* slow. It looks more like liquid or lighting artifacts messing with the IR camera. Do Hellfire's home into a target, or lead it? This video shows the "hellfire" on a perfect trajectory from the side and slightly in front of the fast-moving target. The AI hive mind claims that hellfires using homing, which makes sense for a laser based targeting system, which this video purports. Looks like a contaminated camera, not an alien shrugging off a hellfire. Also is anybody at all interested in how an unidentified space orb got the green light to be shot with a hellfire? Does that really sound like our military?

  7. Anyone else see the latest video of a Hellfire bouncing off a UAP. 🫣
  8. How fascinating. The Trump supporters will continue to support him so long as he continues to align with their primary political concerns? And they won't abandon him based on personal flaws, big though they may be, so long as their political needs are aligned? Did you just describe... A representative democracy? There's hope for you yet.
  9. A most accurate description of my time in the voter booth.
  10. Don't forget the part where the hundreds of people who were involved in the maintenance of the island, transportation of people, or the victimized women themselves who for some reason are also protecting the reputations of the alleged rapists. And of course the part where somehow Epstein was running an intelligence operation where dozens of powerful people were offered children to fuck, and somehow every single one either accepted the offer or independently decided to keep it a secret. I'm no fan of the ruling class, but to think they are *all* secret kiddie diddlers is a bit much. Like I said, it had potential, but it turns out he was just a child molester who also knew a lot of famous people.
  11. That's what the second amendment is for. Genuine question because I don't live in DC: What exactly are the National Guardsmen actually doing? Are they doing armed patrols, or are the normal cops doing that?
  12. TDS really is strong (even stronger than maga apparently). We all know Trump is a douchebag, big exaggerator/liar, philanderer, egomaniac, attention whore, etc. But, his policy choices are still better than any democrat’s. So, you got one part of your tirade correct. I pinched my nose and pulled the lever because he wasn’t Kamala or Newsom. And even with his numerous flaws, we’re better off with him in DC than Kamala.
  13. @SpeedOfHeat, to your credit, there is actually quite a lot of truth in what you write here. It suggests you have more SA than some of your other posts indicate. You may be close to achieving a theory of mind for those on the right. You are 100% correct in that we (or I) don't care what Trump does at this point - within reason. And it's because of one thing: the massive institutional abuse of power that democrats have systematically engaged in during the past 10-15 years. It's not that it's directly about the "blue hairs" and the "nose rings" or all the other fill-in-the-blanks. It's about the fact that the democrats have embarked on an intentional project of Balkanizing the United States. And that project, is a greater threat to our way of life and future prosperity than anything one man is capable of doing. So yeah, I don't subscribe or endorse everything Trump does. It's just that what he's doing brings the US into alignment with our core values MORE than the left does. You don't agree. And I understand why you don't. You need to figure out why the right supports Trump. It's not SOLELY because he's a troll. The fact that his masterful trolling triggers many on the left is something I get to laugh at. It's kind of a bonus, but it's not the meat and potatoes. Oh, and was that meme being ironical? You do know that the whole "drink your own piss" thing came from Yoga, which is a practice many on the Left align with? i.e. drinking your own urine was considered a health practice by those on the Left. So it'd be funny if someone on the right turned it into a meme. Coming from someone on the Left is just kinda confusing.
  14. They don't care. If it's derogatory towards the Dear Leader, it gets labeled as "Fake News." I truly believe there's nothing Trump could do to have his supporters turn their backs on him at this point. “Mexico will pay for a wall, the national debt will be eliminated within 8 years, the Ukraine-Russia war will be ended before even taking office, energy costs will be lowered 50% within a year, Obamacare will be replaced with 'concepts of a plan.'” etc. etc. etc. All total bullshit. Meme-coin scams, calls for terminating the constitution, hush-money to porn stars, claims that elections are rigged, "falling in love" with Kim Jong Un, suggesting Canada should be the 51st state and illegals "are eating the pets." More time playing golf than any POTUS. Giant gaudy North Korean-esque portraits of himself draped on buildings around DC. A narcissist beyond measure. Has the mind of a child. An insufferable and obvious idiot literally any time he speaks. They don't give a shit. So if you think the Epstein files are going to move the needle, guess again. There is literally nothing he could do that will change their minds. .....Wait, I take that back. There is just one thing: If Trump turned back to being a democrat. If he endorsed gun control (again) or became pro-choice (again). If he welcomed immigration and open boarders. If he spoke of climate change initiatives, universal healthcare, or free college. And especially if he flip-flopped on the real important issues to MAGA: The political red meat. If he started encouraging pronoun use, or trans males in female sports. If he used trigger warnings and safe spaces. If he talked about reparations, or being ok with kneeling for the National Anthem during football. Holy shit. Then. Then they might turn against him. Maybe. Because that's the truth at the end of the day. Nothing he says or does will ever matter, so long as he represents the opposition to the left and their lunacy. For all the red hats and Trump flags and watches and NFTs and sneakers, it's not even about him specifically. It's actually about liberals. "Demon-rats," "libtards," "socialists and communists," etc. It’s about the girl with the blue hair and nose ring you can see poking out under her mask, who’s on her way to school in her Prius with a “coexist“ and BLM sticker. Going to teach your kid about how to become a non-binary, pro-Palestine vegan. As long as Trump's seen as the oppositionist to that, then this picture will continue to be the world we live in........
  15. Yesterday
  16. im certain both parties are involved. if you were running a blackmail op why target only one side? the logical play would be to muddy up both major parties
  17. Kinda like fishing. On a couple levels.
  18. Kinda hard to have a good faith discussion, because as you point out, it’s just speculation on our parts. Good point, I don’t know what has changed to motivate leak(s). I can’t explain that. I also can’t explain the Trump Admin bragging they are going to expose everything and now seemingly doing their best to say it’s a nothing burger. All I can be certain of: there is corruption and rot.
  19. For clarity, you think the Biden DOJ had proof that Trump was criminally involved with Epstein, they didn't prosecute him because of mutually assured destruction, but are now leaking because...? If it was MAD last year, what changed? If you add some details to your theory I could better understand your position. My theory is that this is just another fake scandal, there has been nonstop hints of evidence none of which bore fruit upon close examination. But happy to have a good faith discussion since neither of us know the truth.
  20. I absolutely do. I believe Trump and many others were criminally involved. And I believe those on both sides of the aisle are connected and have enough dirt on each other.. mutually assured destruction I think it is called.
  21. Do you really think the Biden admin sat for years on evidence Trump was criminally involved with Epstein? I don't believe there's anything to this, just another fake scandal. But don't worry, you'll get him this time!
  22. There are more people than just Trump who have been associated with Epstein in the past. I saw that Cameron Diaz (dibs) is also linked to Epstein. Where is all of the concern about her? https://www.wtrf.com/top-stories/epstein-list-full-list-of-names-mentioned-so-far-includes-president-trump-bill-clinton-al-gore-george-lucas-cameron-diaz-and-more/
  23. Dibs!!! I just had to be patient and it was well worth the wait.
  24. Anything to distract from this. It’s almost time to reveal the aliens!
  25. I know right! Kinda of like removing all historic statues and changing the name of bases.
  26. Chicago's last GOP mayor was in 1931, Big Jim Thomson, I enlisted in Chicago in 1980 in the southwest side Mount Greenwood where the majority of Cops and Firemen live my cousin being one of them. I went to two of High School reunions there and both times it gets worse from the economic downturn I see in the old neighborhood. The progressive politicians whose base is on the Chicago's north shore white affluent liberals keep electing even more out of touch Democrats who are running the place into the ground. I bet if Da Mayor old Richard J Daley was still alive, they would consider him a Republican. It still makes me tear up when our class president was murdered by 3 POS's from the west side because she couldn't open the safe at our local McDonalds in 79. The trigger man is still doing hard time for it, today he would have beat the rap due to the Cook County DA being hyper liberal.
  27. I'll bite. I get it, another renaming of a department so someone can put their name on something and say "hey, I did that!" I don't disagree this is exhausting in and of itself. However, I think a change of mentality is needed. Everyone is telling us to prepare for war, and they're even throwing out dates. Yet, at all echelons no one seems to be acting accordingly. If that's really what we're collectively supposed to be focused on then we need to get in the right mental state. Is a name change going to do that, no. If the name change is backed by actual action, forcing people to make decisions at all levels w.r.t that end goal, then I agree. We need to get on the same page as a military.
