  2. My brother was the -135 boom who AR’d the B-1s. He made sure to rep Broncos Country.
  3. Likewise was picked up during the 2025 board and did UPT at Vance. Can't answer any IPT questions as I was in one of the last classes on the 2.5 syllabus but graduated T-6 UPT last week and am currently in academics for the T-38. Open to answering any questions you guys might have about UPT or Vance!

  7. The classic 5+1 formation. At least they didn't let the Navy run the timing or we'd still be waiting.

  10. If the leaked practice footage holds, the surprise will be loud!
  11. Man hopefully they make the IPT locations less of a crapshoot then that, I was under the impression we would find out our IPT location at the same time as UPT location.
  12. I was in the second ever class of IPT at Peachtree. There were a significant amount of growing pains associated with IPT. Those should be ironed out by the time you get to where you’re going. IPT is good for bonding with your class, and getting your hands warm. There is some negative transfer with the G1000 and the legacy instruments of the T-6. Checklist usage at civilian flight schools is much more lax than in a military environment. IPT was cool. I got my Multi and instrument out of it for free.99. Where you go is luck of the draw. You can take strategic leave when you get to CAFB to align yourself with a IPT location you desire. But even then it’s not a guarantee as they fill classes as you arrive. You may get back from leave and the class you’re trying to get into is already full. It’s a little chaotic with casuals down here. Lots and lots of first assignment LT’s are waiting to start training.
  13. Thanks! How was IPT, and is there any way we can influence where we go? Peachtree is my most desired spot, it’s right next to home Did you and your class feel ready for T-6s after IPT?
  14. If you're asking if George Marshall fired a lot of generals before we entered combat, the answer is yes (unknown if 600 is correct). These books offer good insights on what he did and why. They're free on Libby. 15. It was his point on the affordability of the -47 and by implication the F/A-XX that gives me pause and consideration. It’s like Op Spider Web, cost of that operation vs what effects they had, the cost of a 47 or XX vs 690 cheaper weapons thrown against it Does the platform matter as much when the weapons / enablers (CCAs) are so much cheaper and therefore can be more plentiful?
  16. Lots of moving parts, a drop out and a supposed surprise. A B-1 from Ellsworth will lead the the 7 ship. They were supposed to have 2 X F-22s but the Raptors had to drop for (operational requirements - read we are getting reading to pound the crap out of Iran), two F-15C's from Fresno will step in to cover down. Next 2 X F/A-18s out of Lemoore. Finally 2 X F-35Cs from Lemoore. No idea what the surprise is....would be great if they pissed all the California Liberals off by blazing the entire formation over in burner....hope it is a good show.
  17. Cheers yall, I was a UPT select on the 24 board. I’m down at Columbus. IPT complete (Peachtree City, Ga), T-6 dollar ride is next week. Hit me up with any questions. Super pumped for you that were selected!

  19. Sounds like it's AI narrated. Can any Military scholars here verify? If true, we need Marshall https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDyQyqxCNt0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDyQyqxCNt0
  20. An article written by a guy who has zero clue. That said, I do share his disdain for our acquisitions process and understand his comments regarding cost creep, etc. But he showcases his zero credibility with multiple comments. Restarting the F-22 - GTFO, that’s a dumb idea and non-starter. 6G is necessary and it’s going to hurt the bank account, pretty much no way around that. The hope is they can produce what they claimed they will relatively close to the timeline they said they would. That would be a massive improvement over LM’s bullshit with the F-35. I’m not holding my breath, but I am rooting for Boeing to succeed where LM has failed miserably. Our national defense depends on it.
  21. Concern about the F-47 https://www.19fortyfive.com/2026/02/the-f-47-ngad-is-the-maginot-line-stealth-fighter/ Cut bait and reinvest or follow thru and hope it doesn’t turn into a white elephant? Estimates are about $50 billion to restart and produce 190+ aircraft but… is that cheaper, less risky and relevant? Likely a stretched and modernized version probably modestly more expensive but addresses issues with the original design
  22. They had to zoom out so much to fit all of Cat 5 in the shot that you can see more stars on the flag. (yes, i can tell that's not quite right...but neither is how epically fat Cat 5 is)

  24. I’ll make this simple: Do you support requiring an ID to vote? And no, many blue states currently do not require an ID to vote. And of course I think Trump should then accept defeat.
  25. Don't quite understand how you came to that conclusion out of reposting that video. I don't know where you've lived, but in the multiple blue and red states I've lived in, currently living in a red state, I've had to show my ID to register to vote. In fact, I registered to vote at the same time I obtained a driver's license in the current state I'm in. So, would you agree that if the SAVES Act passes, and the GOP loses big in the midterms, then Trump should accept that defeat and not claim that the midterms are rigged with voting fraud?
  26. Me thinks the Lady (de) doth protest too much.
