Instead landed a short stint as COMACC before retiring (got to keep up that CMR sortie rate after all). There was other plans for CSAF (ie Bra was always going to replace Allvin - who knew for a long time was going to leave early) - but House of Cards shenanigans pursued, and Cruiser actively pitched into the fight. Oh the reindeer games we play…

I am glad a court finally addressed this unconstitutional restriction, it will be interesting to see how quickly the correction is implemented (already doubtful) especially consider the shutdown that started today...

I'm sure he's great. It's not like we have a cadre of purely sociopathic generals. But the nature of the system is such that only "yes men" are going to make it to the top. There's no real metric for effectiveness or success when we aren't in a global war of existential magnitude, so ass-covering and knob-polishing are the prerequisites. How many shitty bosses with toxic leadership did this guy serve without quitting? How about the first time his commander in chief babbled nonsensically on the global stage from 2017-2021? Court: Post Office Gun Ban is Unconstitutional A couple years ago I was running errands and had to stop at the Post Office to drop off a package and grab some stamps. I had my pistol and I was about to get out of my truck when I remembered. For a second I thought, meh I will only be in there for a minute but I took the extra .69 seconds and took it off and under the seat. I was standing in line and felt someone right behind me, I turned around and it was cop...probably just running an errand himself but my heart skipped a beat for a second.
