There are people on Reddit who actually believe Trump's "gutting" of the FAA was the reason for this crash. 

Looking at it , it sure looks like a flaps up landing, not a pilot but sure you guys lower them for a normal approach.

Hard to tell from that video. A flaps up landing is a non-normal (emergency) procedure in most big jets. I would assume there would have been some discussion with ATC if they did have some sort of mechanical issue. 

Google has pictures of the left main gear area that appear to show flaps and slats extended.

Have they named the hero crew yet?  I mean, they saved 80 people.

Somebody refresh my memory but isn't the CRJ900 at Delta  flown by mainline Delta crews?

If so, at least they're already at the majors.    You gotta land all of your kickflips at the regionals to have any chance of going to the majors.
