Are they supposed to move out as well? Talk about a dumb, pointless stance to take.

The US would be better off if we didn’t are about race, ethnicity and other dumb shit humans have no control over.  Don’t forget, we all got to choose what color to be born or what part of the Earth we so happened to pop out of a vagina in.  Fuck your race.  Who cares? Really.  What choice did we have in the matter, none.

The guy fighting for injustice, with a nice car, watch and custom suit doesn’t care about you either.   Why now, did he only discover Florida is Racist? It has nothing to do with politics.  Lol.

There are too many idiots in this part of the world.  No shit, it’s literally the movie “Idiocracy” playing live and we all get a part.

Edit:  Americans, quit being victims.  A president needs to run on that platform.  We aren’t victims, that’s the mentality that prevents motivation.

You know, he actually kept his congress in line, realized he didn't know how to solve all his problems, and put the smartest person he could find in charge of fixing the most pressing issues of the day.

We could do worse.

There's a whole industry of civil-rights groups and individuals who, after winning the war against racism, have realized they aren't able to/interested in finding a new job.

So now they must create work for themselves. It's pretty transparent, but there's a lot of inertia in that world, so they are still able to squeeze out a (big) paycheck with increasingly absurd accusations.

Are you telling me Mountain Dew and Brawndo are the same thing because they both have electrolytes?

Direct result of woke virus. Legacy media doesn't talk about it, but every large city is experiencing this. And it's getting worse and worse.

It’s amazing how fast that city has turned into a complete shit hole. My sister and her now husband moved there in 2010 and there were some pockets of this already and probably had been for a while, but it was still mostly just weird Portland.

It’s completely off the rails these days and only accelerated after 2020, George Floyd riots, etc… Lots of other Democrat heavy cities and towns are following suit, and not just the expected ones like LA, San Fran, Austin. Asheville NC used to be one of my favorites cities on the east coast and it’s got encampments and heavy drug use now too.

Prior to the recall of Newsome, something like 60% of voters didn't like the direction the state of California was going. However, when pulling the lever to vote, Newsome wins by 20 points.  The level of disaster doesn't matter to these people because they think "I'm a good person, Republicans are bad, and conservatives are Nazis so I'm voting democrat no matter what." These people will let their city, state, and/or country burn to the ground as long as they get to rule over the ashes.  We are watching this happen in real time in the cities you mentioned.

I will tell you Nashville is very nice. Lots of growth, fun stuff to do, etc. Come visit! Many other people do all the time.

The level of doomerism online I see around cities is hilarious. Some places are having a rough go of it, sometimes due to stupid policy choices, but overall cities are awesome places where millions of people pay hefty premiums to live. Of course not everyone wants to and that’s cool too.

Most cities are safer than when most of us were growing up, and the one I live near, the ones my close friends live in, and the ones I’ve visited recently on trips have all been great.

Cities I’ve enjoyed over the last handful of years: Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham, San Diego, LA, SF, DC, Tampa, Houston, Charlotte, Raleigh, Austin, KC, Asheville, Knoxville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Honolulu and Seattle.

Getting dinner in San Francisco is not exactly the same thing as living in San Francisco. Whether it's homelessness, the Exodus of retail (Nordstroms was the most recent), or the phenomenal incidents of vehicle break-ins, "awesome" does not describe San Francisco.

Your cartoonish denial of reality is usually a bit less obvious, but not here.

However, it does quite nicely demonstrate the arrogance of your political philosophy.  I had fun there once, so why are so many people complaining?
