Here’s a great write up about a Reservist pilot and crews mission in Kabul. Hopefully AFSOC PA can get can the stories of the no shit heroism of the Draco folks involved there.

One of the first things I read when I got to the CAOC last year was their AAR after the TF rep recognized my name and pushed it to me.  Very, very impressive. BZ to those crews.

The Afghan Adjustment Act failed to make it into the omnibus bill which was needed to provide a legal path to citizenship for the vast majority of people we evacuated. Without this, 10's of thousands of people evacuated will be deported back to Afghanistan in August of 23 when their temporary visas expire.

Yes again we screw anyone who helps us.  Why would anyone ever believe America again?

Here you go.... Afghan refugee caught crossing border illegally with group of Latin Americans. Latin Americans are released after claiming refugee status with no hearing or additional process. Afghan who fought and assisted US is imprisoned and denied an immediate hearing.

My big problem is that both groups are wrong to cross illegally, but the law is not being equally applied. WTF?

Playing a game of demographic math with real life humans as the pawns. It’s really disgusting if you stop and think about it for just a few seconds.

I suppose it’s better than than how humans demographics were tried to be shaped 80 years ago by a certain nation/person.

But importing an entire group of people based purely on their skin color with the intent of them creating future voters that will ensure your base of power is really not all that far behind on the racist/disgusting scale.

Afghanis are small time numbers compared to the potential voter block from central/South America, and I don’t know this for a fact, but would imagine Afghan immigrants in many cases don’t “vote the right way” in future generations. See Cuban immigrants as an example.

I've never spent time in Central and South America but aren't most of those dudes Catholic?   I don't think any of them will be voting for abortion anytime soon.

My wife helps plenty of Afghans that we fucked over.  She works for a non profit as an immigration attorney.  A lot of translators and others that were on our side.  It's kinda shitty.  There are families torn apart and there's not a whole lot of help from the US government.  They actually help make the process harder for them.

Historically Hispanics have favored the democrat party. But you make a good point; the Hispanic community in this country is generally hard working, family oriented, and religious. Hardly the pillars of the modern woke left.

IMO this demonstrates the hidden racism of the modern far left. They simply assume that due to historical trends and skin color, these people will continue to vote for them.

DeSantis won Miami Dade county which is traditionally both heavily Blue and Hispanic. I don’t think Democrats can count on Hispanics anymore. The days of taking for granted token minorities is over for the far left.

Their strategy for long term shift of Texas to a blue state has completely changed for the same reason.

Used to be specific minority based issues and immigration. Now it’s shifted to a bunch of virtue signaling and millennial blame shifting like student loan repayment or “fair share” tax plans appealing to places like Austin.

The left started telling people how great socialism is. The Cubans who left socialism living in Miami Dade begged to differ.

But but…. That’s not “real” socialism…

Love when they use that argument while condemning free market capitalism based on what we currently have in the U.S. (more like crony capitalism on steroids).

Making Xmas dinner awkward with their family spouting off a semester of how wage stagnation and wealth inequality are a systemic criminal design of capitalism…. Failing to notice the irony that they are doing it across a spread of foods that aren’t just turnips in the dinning room of a 3300 square foot house….

Always hilarious in an infuriating way to watch leftist spout progressive bullshit and socialism this and that, then leave the meeting in their BMW M3, $100k vette, the 17 yr old “expert on life” driving away in her Range Rover going home to her parent’s $2M house. Funny how 99.9% of the ones arguing for this bullshit are well off white people (predominantly women).

And most are a result of higher education indoctrination. I swear universities are the reason socialism is becoming “popular”.

The part that really bugs me the most about those types is how cheap they are. Look at Facebook marketplace and see all the stuff they’re selling for “like new”. Socialism is great unless you can make some money off the 20 year old single mom looking for a car seat.
