In other words, he was told to stay away but just couldn't do it. Her name must have been "Sunshine." Side note, it's good to see that Punk is climbing the command ladder, 18AF now, probably a 4 star job in the future. Punk is one of the good ones, till this day still down to earth and takes care of folks.

Ehh, he was the one who acquiesced to Kwast to fuck up AETC and 19 AF. Shredder Sears (A2/3/10) refused to delegate his A3 authority because Kwast wanted him to focus on “force development and competencies” BS. So Shredder was sidelined and sent to the new A5/8 and Punk signed all the authority delegation memos as an O-6 deputy. Sears got his second star because Kwast was fired. Seems like the boss wanted an action and made moves to get it, or there was more at play. Karma took care of it if I read this right.

Biff_T Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) I'd like to fuck that dude up. I can't wait for him to shed tears when he loses his freedom for jerking off to his step daughter taking a shit. Take him to altitude and kick him out without a parachute. Edit: Or drop him off at UTTR and have the boys let loose on him in the range. Edited May 13 by Biff_T Afterthought 2

We set up prisons with safe areas on each corner of the UTTR or Nellis ranges and wall the entire range in. Get old military vehicles, clunkers, whatever and we handcuff these twisted humans into a vehicle with the assignment of driving to the opposite safe area during the day/night. If the dirtbag makes it, he lives to drive another day. If not, well, think of the great training provided to his/her former fellow warriors. 1 2

The Navy/DoD will do an Officer Grade Determination to decide at what lower grade he last served honorably. In theory that could be as low as an O-1. If he were still active and received a dismissal he’d lose all of his retirement. Since he’s retired I’m not sure if that’s an option. The sentencing will be interesting to see.
disgruntledemployee Posted Tuesday at 03:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:32 PM I knew him as an O-6, a no nonsense submariner. I would NOT have thought this was the same guy when I saw the headlines. Thing is, dudes that make 4 stars almost always have no problems getting a good post mil gig that doesn't involve doing shady shit. Even the assholes get jobs. If you remember, he was charged with recommeding the fate of the Navy Carrier Capt that sent the SOS email during covid. He rec'd restoration, SecNav chose torpedo.

Veterans rated 20 percent or more are limited to the 10 percent disability rate. For a Veteran whose disability rating is 10 percent, the payment is reduced by one-half. Once a Veteran is released from prison, compensation payments may be reinstated based upon the severity of the service connected disability(ies) at that time. Payments are not reduced for recipients participating in work release programs, residing in halfway houses (also known as "residential re-entry centers"), or under community control. The amount of any increased compensation awarded to an incarcerated Veteran that results from other than a statutory rate increase may be subject to reduction due to incarceration. https://www.benefits.va.gov/persona/veteran-incarcerated.asp 2

Now this. Lied for his side-piece and got caught. Was the speechwriter at the time. What a conceited, arrogant...individual then. Turns out he's just a douche...then and now. uhhello Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Timothy Michael "Tim" Giardina (born 1957) is a retired United States Navy officer and formerly the deputy commander of U.S. nuclear forces.[2][3][4] In May 2014, all charges associated with counterfeiting were dropped by the Navy, but he was fined and reprimanded for two specifications of conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman. The specifications included 1) not reporting exactly what valuables he found in a casino bathroom when he initially reported finding valuables to casino management and 2) lying to an Iowa investigator in the casino when questioned about the incident. As a result of being suspended pending resolution of the ongoing investigation, Giardina reverted to the rank of rear admiral[5] Navy career [edit] Giardina graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics.[6] Counterfeit poker chips [edit] In June 2013, Giardina was caught using three counterfeit gambling chips in a Council Bluffs, Iowa, casino.[7] Giardina was investigated by the Navy and suspended from duty in September 2013. Later investigation revealed that someone had altered several $1 chips into $500 chips with adhesive tape and paint. It was further alleged that Giardina would spend approximately 15 hours a week on occasion playing poker.[8] In May 2014, he was found guilty of two counts of "conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman." He reverted from vice admiral to rear admiral, was removed from his position as deputy commander at Strategic Command, and was given a staff officer position in Washington, D.C.[9] Guilty plea for obstruction of justice [edit] In 2025, Giardina pled guilty to obstruction of justice after he gave false testimony for a tenant of his during a bail bond proceeding.
