I've seen some wild things at European airshows.  Romania specifically was the most recent.  I've never seen so many extended turn circles go straight through the crowd.  The one that surprised me the most was Solo Turk.  I've known that team to be highly professional, but the amount of opportunities for the show I saw to go horrifically wrong made me question that reputation...not to mention the number of close calls with the other local demos that should never have happened with a proper air boss.  Of course to the crowd 'it's all part of the show' as I just shook my head and kept my family moving away from show center.

"Some analysts suggest the pilot may have been avoiding birds that crossed the flight path, which could explain the sudden maneuver..." 🙃🙃

Considering this Spanish Eurofighter incident last month, it's entirely possible!

Spanish air force pilot has been praised for his “exemplary speed and professionalism”, after he performed a maneuver to avoid a flock of birds during the International Air Festival in Gijon.

I gotta call BS. Maybe a good on-the-fly excuse to his leadership and a face saving option for media consumption. Sure.
But if anyone in the business actually thinks that abortion of a maneuver and near destruction of beach side property and potential death of numerous innocent beach goers is a better alternative to taking a bird or two, they’re not playing with a full deck.  He wasn’t even going that fast. The canopy is easily rated to take that and if an engine gets involved, well he’s got another.  UFB.

I can't figure out why my insurance premiums keep going up.

In Alaska there’s a decent chance that pilot doesn’t have a license.

Pics! No far-shot video! Or it didnt happen...Adalaide Stone...

AI Overview: Yes, Oregon does take arrest photos (mugshots), but state law strictly limits their public release, allowing them to be shared only in limited circumstances such as when critical for public safety to apprehend a suspect, when needed for a potential victim to come forward, or if the person has been convicted of the crime for which they were arrested
