He might be. But the Herk community has had a rash of C-17 dudes that come over and start messing things up. Now the big question is to how can we stop this silly trend in AMC?

Stop the PHOENIX programs.  The CAF doesn’t do it, why would the MAF do it?  Also keep people in their MDS’s.  However AMC, and really the entire MAF, has a boner over making C-17 guys in charge of everything, however they have limited command billets.  Which is why you see shitty people like Rat taking over a KC-135 Squadron and C-130 Wing for command as a career strart airlift guy.

A running joke at Altus when I was there was if you’re the #1 tanker guy on base, you were really #15 on the base due to all the C-17 guys.

You are correct. But if we stop the Phoenix programs how will AMC know who the shinny penny’s are? Well I’m sorry if you have limited command billets. Look at the RPA enterprise. They have very limited billets. But they seem to have a problem with messing up the communities that they show up at. Now I get doing the Phoenix program as a young guy but bring them back to where they started. I’ve seen to many guys come into places and have a problem with flying tac vs just flying strat missions.

Gscomm is trying similarly as the MAF...

But without people who have been in multiple airframes, 6-9 years on staff, SOS DG, and ACSC in residence how can we have effective leaders and commanders?

Is any other wing in AETC going for "full mission ready status"? Instead of reacting to increasing tensions with N Korea by focusing on making students that much better, we all have to do CBRNE, expeditionary active shooter training, etc.  This is despite the AETC push within the past 12 months to protect all FTU aircrew from deployments.  I'm pretty sure if there's a full blown war a) the production pipeline will still need to go on, and b) all that stuff would be waived anyway.

Nah.  They'll find that the squadron fostered a "culture of insubordination" because you can't go stepping on the some individual's freedom of speech.  It's the internet...which is basically a safe zone, right?

Just fire the squadron commander, promote the wing commander, and move on.

the entire AETC wing? you either have a delusional/overzealous wing king or some serious shit is coming down the pike.

Are you a UPT guy or an FTU guy?

And if you think CBRNE will be waived in your North Korea example, I think you may be mistaken.

The first sergeant concluded his email by reminding them about former NBA superstar Michael Jordan’s habit of appearing at press conferences in a suit and tie, even without a dress code requiring it.

"He was never seen with a gaudy chain around his neck, his pants below his waistline, or with a backwards baseball hat on during public appearances,” Parish said.

Hopefully that shirt can turn in his papers.  What a joke.

Want to lose all credibility as a leader?  Use the term “microaggresion”.  #Triggered

Also, STEP promote that shirt to E-9 ASAP!

microaggression. lol. how embarrassing for a Col to send an email with the word "microaggression" in it.

Our FTU is doing the same thing, despite shedding the DOC statement for x crews to support ops squadrons in an effort to make the most of our minimal manning. The things we're asked to do seem kind of random though...CST is a must, but we can't get any time to shoot the M9...

What’s more concerning is the undermining of a military force O-6’s, GO’s, and E-9’s do to maintain a fucked up political correctness.

“Jesus...”

or...

”whatever higher echelon you sarcastically name drop when something unbelievable occurs...”

We must be more careful with our words. If we want our young leaders to be successful in macroaggressions during war, we must avoid exposing them to, and victimizing them with microaggressions.

I much preferred the days when Academy staff used macroaggressions to show cadets what worthless maggots they were enroute to earning a commission and respect.

This is exactly why I avoid associating myself with that place.  People wonder why grads are so cynical after they leave, this is why.
