  1. The most airline profit/$ is in the mileage programs. Colors of 'money' and a means to seperate operations risk from $....points/SkyMiles/Avios/whatever. Pretty clever litigation and profit management risk-serverance if you ask me. Pts = $ with mostly data management risk, not operations. They sit on your points (aka $) for you, collecting interest as well as deflate their value.
  2. Reminds me of something like this seen a LONG time ago as a patch...
  3. But did she, really? The crown will come with unforseen, royal baggage regardless of who she is as a person, for starters lots of TDY/PTDY for AF Recruiting Service. Time will tell.
  4. https://theaviationgeekclub.com/did-you-know-a-man-bought-all-the-spare-b-2-windshields-and-used-them-in-his-daughters-tree-house-the-usaf-had-to-buy-them-back-to-replace-a-damaged-spirit-windshield/ Wonder what the Ops-Mx mtg slides said? Parts plus 1 tree house disassembly and 1x blank check?
  5. Double or triple, back-to-back command is new norm for Mx, LRS, and SF. I could see the CSOs taking over this 'tradition' as pilot exodus deepens. Eventually there will not be staff positions to cut during this stated rated staff crisis. Just wait and watch for all CC boards to be mandatory all-in...it's trending that way.
  6. That's the DTS subsidized price, not true cost. All national, commercial pax airlines are subsidized, some smaller carriers and routes by the Essential Air Service subsidy. Prices are further negotiatied down in the City Pair Program which benefit greatly from said subsidies in that negotiation, so DTS flights are cheaper. How to estimate, then add that cost to your ticket...I have no idea, but it's real expense is much greater. https://www.gsa.gov/plan-book/transportation-airfare-pov-etc/airfare-rates-city-pair-program
  7. I know an O-5 Detco was told do correspondence SDE and get O-6. Several thought no way, person isn’t traditional CC. That person completed SDE and it happened, a high O-6 line # as DETCO, but all without prior DO or Exec experience. Second case: this person wasn't even a DETCO and had no prior CC or DO..made O-6 from a small WG staff job, immediately PCS'd to D.C. non-CC gig.
  8. Is the Ryan Air experience like using a boat-cruise app? Pay for drink package, boarding, excursion, gambling...but on an 'air' not seapass? ...yeesh, what's next mandatory gratuities!?
  9. Lets get absurd! And CA-exit taxes hit a new high! Or potetionally-moving-to-CA taxes levied on all the USA payers....as well as unrealized gains taxes, then later really, really early unrealized, in the womb, taxes are levied. Then the definition of when is a person a person is determined through litigation not for abortion, but for unrealized taxes or potential earnings! (...basically who's paying?...as mass exodus of CA is already underway post C-19 bafoonery)
  10. Sooo...what's posting a pictures comparison supposed to infer? Guess in what difference(s) can be seen? So then Badges? Hair? Deltas? Earings? Makeup? How many flags' stars are showing? Tie vs tie tab? Color of flag stipe closet to ear? Neck shadowing? ...it's like a not so subtle, politically motivated, one of these pictures is not like the other game. Or is it a trick and the change is/was internal!? And was it really the rank that changed that person??? More likely that person's response to external stimuli. Rank shouldn't drastically change a person. Subtle changes I'd agree with, but drastic changes because of new rank perhaps mean the rank went to the wrong person. Begs the debatable question of does a person make rank or rank make a person?
  11. So what your saying is, there might be a bunch of six-fingered TDY-babies running amuk!?! Won't need Ancestory.com to trace that lineage because @RASH , @Lord Ratner, & @Biff_T are implicated when those six-fingered kiddos are blurting-out 'dibs' during hopefully hilarious, liquefied rants on kid-TDYs of their own! ...all hyperbole
  12. "There was no single incident on any social media site which prompted us to seek outside assistance, but rather the toxic tendencies..."
  13. Because of hate, lawfare, and irrationality.
  14. Interesting read and interpretation. However not convincing. The follow-on rulings will be interesting to watch. Key reasons/keywords: Oath, 'support', officer, offices mentioned...and words mean things, also lack thereof. First, the Insurrectionist clause starts at banning, or 'disabling', at the Congressional level and then under the United States to individual states. Note the primacy writing style used. This undoubtably means officers APPOINTED by public authority as mentioned in your citation's para 130-132 who are found guilty of insurrection, yes? These same insurrectionist must have sworn to "support" the Constitution, while POTUS' oath does not. References follow. https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artII-S1-C8-1/ALDE_00001126/ (might have to cliffnote more this website after all this...) & https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/article-2/section-1/clause-8/ Second, The Office of the President is filled chiefly by an election & electors. POTUS is not an appointed officer in that sense, despite the position being an office, that is the Office of the President of the United States. Third, and back to that primacy writing style, why would "an officer of the United States" which is written after "member of Congress" include the POTUS when Congress is written out expressly and POTUS is not? Lastly, perhaps most importantly, the preposition 'under' versus the use 'of'. Under meaning that which is below or beneath or lower-than. Section 3 says to disable any insurrectionist from holding any office under the United States. So clarify for us, is it the President of OR under the United States? I await your answer curiously because a new adjudged interpretation of this matter by you and SCOTUS could change the big guy's business card to PUTUS! Which sounds wrong... (and likewise SCUTUS)
  15. Is POTUS an officer, Congressman, and/or state legislator/judicator sworn to the constitution per 14th Amendment, SEC. 3? // ...member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state...// https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/amendmentxiv# I'd say several on this forum are officers (clearly), one to two are/were congressman, and who knows the last category....but POTUS fitting those categories, likely no. So why was it brought in the first place against #45?
  16. Naive. Eventually one must pay the piper/bondholders. Perhaps you mean modern monetary theory is "free" until critical mass of debt-load is achieved? ...in the end, like the pied piper poem, the children will suffer. https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/45818/the-pied-piper-of-hamelin
  17. I was thinking Empress, but that's works too!
  18. Go for the 🏆 and it's not just Germans, but Norwegians too! Death dive with Miriam into that crazy pool! Looks fun. Miriam Hamberg
  19. Soon to be like half that I hear. But the redemption is more total AR/VR hours than flight hours...🤨🤔 On that, will 781s be updated enabling to log AR/VR time? They THAT serious? Will playing Starfox count? Maybe Halo? Okay, in all seriousness...MS Flight Sim? What about UPT vs UPT-H flight hour comparison?? Maybe sorties/repetitions?
