DAL has updated “12 months” to “2 years” for AD and ARC. If you have orders ending < 2.5 years, you’d be crazy not to have an app in!

ANG and RES develop their own bonuses separate from AD, and each other, every year. They almost always match or exceed the AD bonus…at least in the last 6 years of my experience.

I’m not arguing doctrine has changed, simply that the machine is a ludicrous choice to support the doctrine. Honestly some sort of light attack would have been a much better choice for what is needed on STOL side, super hornets to replace classic hornets, and then we also would have benefited from a much better A and C model for the AF and Navy.

To be fair, you don’t seem to grasp how the MEU concept and objective is not in the same ballpark as the fights an F-35 is designed for. The mission and the asset are completely at odds in several ways.

Plenty of data from the last two years of studies showing masks are not effective at any reasonable rate WRT to Covid; unless you consider single digit percentages (cloth) “effective”. Surgical masks are somewhere in the teens to 30s. N95 is the only thing that’s marginally useful, and that’s really only if worn correctly and used one time then disposed (which almost nobody actually does). The CDC has no credibility.

Anyone know which zip you get BAH based on in the guard - base zip or your current address zip? Does type of orders, type 1 vs 2, etc. make a difference?

If you can afford to fly, do it, but do not spend money you don’t have to get an IFR rating - it’s not going to make much difference.

There are so many kids in this position. It’s heartbreaking. Anyone who champions this trans stuff, especially in kids, is a huge POS and a truly awful human being…and too many of them are teachers, superintendents, etc.
