  1. Years ago, ended up at Shaw to build an A/OA-10 squadron with 17-ish Lt.s converting from the OV-10. These guys are fired up, fangs out, and ready to learn. Friday night at the club and Lt. Gen Horner, 9AF/CC, shows up with his entourage of flunkies and hangers-on and they sit at a giant round table in the corner of the bar. I noticed Horner had his hat hanging dangerously halfway out of his leg pocket. I grabbed one of the young lieutenants by the collar, pointed at Horners hat, and told him his mission was to put that hat on the bar. He throws himself on the floor and commences to low crawl towards the 3 star and remains unobserved as he picks the hat from the pocket. He successfully egresses with the hat then heads to bar depositing the hat and ringing the bell. An announcement is made asking "Is there any 3 star missing their hat? Please see the bartender.". Horner sends a minion thus scoring negative points with those in attendance. I'll add the Gen. Fogleman had his hat polyurethaned in the A-10 squadron bar at Osan and would show up on Friday night to buy a round.
  2. TDS truly is a mental illness
  3. "Hogging" the inside of a unattended hat was a big practical joke in AFSOC...same in the CAF?
  4. When I was a DO the CC had a spare hat to leave on his desk so people would think he was in the building.
  5. My current hat has 3 holes, dirt/sweat stains, most of the silver “braid” is gone - as God intended.

If you're still in the 6s...no huge rate drops yet but slightly moving down. Every loan is a little different (credit score, property location, loan amount, VA disability or not and what the market is doing), but I'm knocking out no cost streamline refi's for people as the numbers support it. Here is a one pager and example of one closing this week for anyone interested. So everyone understand it we pay for all the third party costs so for them it was $4,717 so it's completely free of a breakeven. That is the total of section B+C+E on page 2. They were only responsible for prepaid interest for the amount of days in left in the month from when they close because they skip their 1 Sept payment which still nets them ahead. You can see their new loan amount is basically identical to the payoff of their old loan (page 1 loan amount vs page 3 payoff). All they did was finance in the prepaid interest but they could have paid that in cash if they’d prefer. They waived having an escrow account (not required with us) but one can be created if they had wanted one. If so then the current escrow balance gets refunded in cash if they have one too. No tricks or scams. We're in the business of originating as many loans as we can especially for prior clients because relationships matter as a word of mouth business and we build a lot of goodwill doing these. I can then rinse and repeat this for them as rates go down more in the future. If you'd prefer not to restart at 30yrs (most people do) I can keep the same payment but shorten then loan duration down (prob shave 3-4yrs off or so). Hit me up if you're interested or want to get on my radar for future market dips. Jon 850-377-1114 https://tridenthomeloans.com/irrrl/ No Cost IRRRL.pdf No cost IRRRL Example.pdf
  7. Back in the day drawing dicks in a 4 star’s hat and throwing it in the freezer was good to go - probably get you castrated on AD nowadays.
  8. But....Trump is bad!
  9. More than one Col has left a building with an upside down eagle. Never leave your hat unattended and visible.
  10. Along with a spare set of keys and sunglasses
  11. Hat shenanigans. Ah, good times.
  12. I bet he insisted on completing SOS in correspondence and in person. As a Lt, I had a hat with tons of dirt on it next to a pack of Marlboro Reds in my car. Edit: If you put my hat in a pot of boiling water, you could've made a stew.
  13. On 1st glance I’d agree, the whole thing seems a bit silly. I’m more curious who he pissed off. Said individual is very political and would do almost anything to get ahead. He used to keep 2 extra covers in his car as a Lt., one with an eagle on it and one with a star on it as a reminder/motivator for where he wanted to go.
