Commanders are dropping like flies this year
Jets falling off Truman attributed to..... on board WiFi. Piss poor investigative work fellas. I guess boats don't have commanders anymore. Yeah, the article is probably cherry picking the click bait, but if the board is listing wifi as a culprit vs the commanders in charge that can order their seamen to get qualified on the cat system, our Navy sucks even more. If one is leaving it up to motivation to get quals, I suppose tictok (The China, really) wins. Yahoo NewsIs carrier Wi-Fi distracting sailors? Jet mishap probe ra...The arrival of readily accessible Wi-Fi onboard ships is reducing crews’ commitment to professional excellence, the investigation found.

A much better option that's about the same price and much better quality for a budget build truck gun!!

With the CFP there is no incentive to play in a bowl game. I don't disagree with a playoff system, but I think they should use a BCS style system to determine who gets in. I hate what CFB has become. "Get off my lawn!"

Reasons to despise cops
I am a huge supporter of law enforcement as I have a lot of friends who work in it at the local, state and Federal levels. I've also worked directly with local agencies and found most are honest, law-abiding officers who dedicate their lives to protect others. However, I also know such bullshit as this occurs all the time.... https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/investigations/article/texas-traffic-stop-search-bexar-county-21079297.php I'd like to think it's with the right intent, but know it's usually overzealous officers stepping far beyond their authorities! I understand firsthand the border situation and that all capabilities are needed to defeat that threat, but harassing citizens like that should never be tolerated! And yes, that $7,268.46 Bexar County sent Schott to cover damages to his truck during the search comes from the taxes I pay!

I think as much as it’s gonna cost them in trash talk, the colleges that said “no thanks we’re out” absolutely recognize their coordinated power to force the expansion. This is effectively public collective bargaining. At the end of the day the league and all the money people behind it are here to make more money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Profitable for the conferences, not the schools except for the big name bowls that are now the CFP. Some conferences profit share and some don't. Schools are required to buy giant chunks of tickets that often go unsold and leaves the schools on the hook. Schools will spend $1-3 million just to get the team and school to the game and back. With NIL, transfer portal, and CFP, I see a large chunk of the bowls going away.

I'm good...and I gave up Bourbon for rum for which I am now a complete snob, you should try it. I have a lot of friends from ND and frankly when I played ball, they were the dirtiest team we ever took the field against. Interestingly they spent the last few weeks trolling Miami of several Miami websites but have suddenly vanished now that their bubble has burst. Interesting note about the bowl games, they generate a lot of revenue for the local area where they are played and for the teams, those funds can be channeled into other sports. Did you see the fines being handed out by the conferences for teams skipping a bowl game...$500K per team...such a waste. More than anything I hate the special treatment and the MOU serves to show the bias continues and is blatant even though they haven't won a natty in 32 years.

Probably 'our' car bomb at this point. Wouldn't be the first time.

Trump's Cabinet
The cartels have exhibited the same traits as “well known/accepted as” terrorist organizations for a long time. I’m glad we’ve finally formally designated at least some of them as “official” terrorist organizations.

Related to the drug trade. A car bomb is definitely next level and sounds way too familiar. Cartels may be feeling some pressure. More (armed) Reapers overhead the better in my book. Car bomb kills 5 people, including 3 officers, in front of police station in Mexico - CBS News

Throw a little bourbon in your coffee CH, just flipping you some shit. I don't even like ND, though I'm all for them sitting out the bowl game if that's what they want to do. Frankly, if you're not playing for the natty, what good is done by playing in the ma' and pa' waffle house bowl? ND certainly doesn't need the money. Lots of people wrapping themselves into a pretzel to be upset about a team they don't even like, not playing in a bowl that nobody cares about.

And lets be completely clear. There is EXTREME BIAS for Notre Dame...are you tracking the CFP committee made a "special" deal with Notre Dame? In the Spring of 2025 the CFP signed a MOU with Notre Dame and starting next year if Notre Dame is ranked 12 or better under the current 12 team layoff or 13th or better if they expand to 14 teams, Notre Dame is GUARANTEED to be in the CFP. No other team got an MOU like that, yeah no bias at all...

They never should have been ranked ahead of Miami...FINALLY the committee got it right.

Florida State, Auburn, UCF, Baylor, Rutgers, Temple, Kansa, Iowa State, Notre Dame, and Kansas State have all declined bowl games. The sponsors for these bowls have got to be shitting themselves right now.
