Loyalty is everything to him, and he seems to be addicted to trolling. Trump is also hypersensitive to any suggestion of political witch hunts now. Couldn't even make it a year. Pity.

George Santos sentence commutation.. don’t understand the thought process on that one

Incapable of not shooting himself in the foot. Early second term was great. Think he's getting a bit out over his skiis.

We got a good example of "Bad Trump" recently. Really I'd say 90% of his actions towards Canada have been bad, but throwing a tariff on them because you don't like an ad run by a provincial government is particularly stupid. One tragedy of Trump v2 is going to be that we finally have a president who uses tariffs, which are a phenomenal tool, but he's using them like a distracted child, and he's going to end up discrediting them for another few decades.

MEDCON vs Civilian Disability Pay

Thanks a ton for the advice. 90% sure that when I do transfer to a new unit I will need to TX to a new airframe as well. I know guys transition a decent amount so I don’t think it should be too big of a deal. -
You are the reason that popcorn is allowed in Shot Val. If this is how you justify how you're not wrong, watching you justify how you're not dead would be even better.
-
The transfer is “just paperwork.” Your losing unit/AFRC will have to release you to the new unit/guard, transfer your UPT ADSC over, etc. I would tell your SQ/CC you are starting to look into this plan due to the hardship on the family and its long term unsustainability. Any good human should understand and be supportive. Hopefully he’ll also be willing to help you with the search (e.g. reach out to other CCs in your local region to vouch for you, ask for transfer help, etc.)

How is the transfer process from reserve to guard? Also is it wise to talk to my SQ/CC first before talking to other units or what advice do you have when it comes to making the actual switch? -
Personally I’d find a unit closer to where you live, and consider changing base to ORD. Get both jobs within the “local” region - your family QOL will be much better. Look at the guard too, don’t just limit it to reserves.

My son was texting me non-stop "Mario will not stop running up the middle!" I get his dedication the run game and it paid off versus Stanford with 42 unanswered points but against better teams it keeps the game to close early and lets momentum and chance dictate the outcome. I think Pitt is a trap game for us. Break Break - Brian Kelly out at LSU. He will get $800K a month as part of his $57M payout. And of course Kiffin is in the driver's seat.

No, currently don’t live in base for either. My airline base is MCO and then I can drive to my reserve unit from there. I commute down and then do both. I’m looking into switching my reserve unit to be back up north and be only a 1-2hr drive from my house. As for the airlines I could switch my airline base to ORD or somewhere a lot closer as well or continue the commute to MCO if it’s easy. I also am thinking about the reserve UPT IP gig if I could swing that since it sounds pretty flexible. Either way I would like to start spending more time at home with my family and flying for the airline more while still doing my Air Force duty. - Yesterday

Anyone can do garage beer. Now shower beer, that's a different level. Pic brought to you by The BrewDog Hotel in Columbus. Yes, I've stayed there.

This is pretty typical of the majority of progressives…unless they’re in an echo chamber where they can, at best, regurgitate talking points, they don’t want engage in substantive debate or explain their positions past the point of emotions. Even Bill Maher, who is anything but a conservative, called out the high profile types on the left because so many refuse to go on his show. He also then said that those on the right will at least show up. “And these are people, all people, I voted for,” the “Real Time” host continued. “Think about that: they’re afraid to come on the show of a guy who voted for them. The Republicans? They show up, and when they do, they take their beating like a man.” https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/articles/bill-maher-slams-high-profile-194828481.html

Let's hope so! I'm honestly just glad the board was able to happen before the shutdown. Thanks for the insight and hopeful for some news soon!

Is it time for the media to apologize to us all who knew CU was still going to be trash no matter how many times they preached how Deion Sanders was going to march them straight to the promised land?
-
Do you live in base for the airlines? If you’re commuting to both, especially as an O3 with a long ways to 20, you are going to crash and burn with one of your careers or your family.
-
No buddy, you’re implying that you can’t have any idea why this shutdown is occurring without me stating it. You’re not asking for my opinion, you’re asking for the opinion of the dems who are in the senate. It is very much publicized why the two sides are at a gridlock. You definitely have been exposed to this information - or you easily could be via simple searches. It’s a fallacious argument technique that you have probably become blind to. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sealioning The way this forum works is you - or someone likes you - acts as if an obvious public opinion isn’t common knowledge or explanatory, and then you nitpick whatever you’re told. It is not worth the time to explain basic public knowledge opinions that you act like they don’t exist when they very clearly do and are easily found. If you want to stop being obstinate and debate things that are well within the public sphere, I’m happy to argue nuance with you. For example, I know that a significant part of the republican justification for this bill is increase support for immigration enforcement and a significant slashing of government entitlement benefits in the name of fiscal responsibility.
