I absolutely do. I believe Trump and many others were criminally involved. And I believe those on both sides of the aisle are connected and have enough dirt on each other.. mutually assured destruction I think it is called.
-
Do you really think the Biden admin sat for years on evidence Trump was criminally involved with Epstein? I don't believe there's anything to this, just another fake scandal. But don't worry, you'll get him this time!

There are more people than just Trump who have been associated with Epstein in the past. I saw that Cameron Diaz (dibs) is also linked to Epstein. Where is all of the concern about her? https://www.wtrf.com/top-stories/epstein-list-full-list-of-names-mentioned-so-far-includes-president-trump-bill-clinton-al-gore-george-lucas-cameron-diaz-and-more/

Dibs!!! I just had to be patient and it was well worth the wait.

I know right! Kinda of like removing all historic statues and changing the name of bases.

Chicago's last GOP mayor was in 1931, Big Jim Thomson, I enlisted in Chicago in 1980 in the southwest side Mount Greenwood where the majority of Cops and Firemen live my cousin being one of them. I went to two of High School reunions there and both times it gets worse from the economic downturn I see in the old neighborhood. The progressive politicians whose base is on the Chicago's north shore white affluent liberals keep electing even more out of touch Democrats who are running the place into the ground. I bet if Da Mayor old Richard J Daley was still alive, they would consider him a Republican. It still makes me tear up when our class president was murdered by 3 POS's from the west side because she couldn't open the safe at our local McDonalds in 79. The trigger man is still doing hard time for it, today he would have beat the rap due to the Cook County DA being hyper liberal.

I'll bite. I get it, another renaming of a department so someone can put their name on something and say "hey, I did that!" I don't disagree this is exhausting in and of itself. However, I think a change of mentality is needed. Everyone is telling us to prepare for war, and they're even throwing out dates. Yet, at all echelons no one seems to be acting accordingly. If that's really what we're collectively supposed to be focused on then we need to get in the right mental state. Is a name change going to do that, no. If the name change is backed by actual action, forcing people to make decisions at all levels w.r.t that end goal, then I agree. We need to get on the same page as a military.

Dept of War renaming def a good use of tax payer funds.

Initial Pilot Training and Future Pilot Training

This Why at least one 3 star or above can’t just say something euphemistic about all these UPT changes/thrashes and begin to level the wings, ask for a supplemental from Congress and just fix this. Project Liberty has room for criticism but it did get ultimately what it was created to do, deliver quickly and reliably an acceptable solution, not perfect but not bad either. That same kind of VFR direct to a 2 mile final is what is needed. If ACC / PACAF can just say screw the source selection method just buy the E-7, budget shenanigans aside after that public direct call for it by Gen Wilsbach in 21, then a GO could call for a surge and fast recapitalization of UPT. No pointless “reimagining” or other bullshit, just buy already flying trainers, remission a Guard or Reserve Wing if required to expand capacity for some time frame and just get it the hell done. -

The bobs dont have the balls to publicly acknowledge they can't produce their own requirement of 1500 pilots/year with our current resources and lack of retention. Instead of standing up and telling the giga-bobs this fact, they're massively cutting the training you received to produce more, drastically less experienced, pilots to keep the slides green. But then we couldn’t cut training and lie and say we’re innovative and agile. Instead of just saying, we want to produce more pilots, senior leaderships has determined this is the ALR to produce more pilots with resource constraints. -

I suppose that includes me...T-41/T-37, and T-38 at Moody, 1967. Leaving aside the issue of airframe age, would not this type of pilot training meet the needs of today's aircraft and mission types? -

Yeah, I see a snowball having a better chance in hell than the AF doing anything other than more insanity but you gotta hope / post on BO for something better than what they are planning on A resurrection of GUPT I see as possible with the right leadership & Congressional support but don’t see anyone picking up that cause Google AI says there’s 2 USAF pilots in the House, none in the Senate, need them to pick this as a pet project IPT via ESAs at private schools is the crux of this, it’s the outsourcing of arguably the most critical training in the AF, how this has not been noticed and really examined in a harsh light by interested parties I don’t get IPT taught at a military institution via mil / contract instructors under direct mil supervision could work to deliver a consistent product and one capable of a slightly abbreviated primary T-6 or like aircraft phase but that’s not in the plans right now. Fantasy IPT: 85 hours in Cirrus SR20, 25 hours Piper Seminole, 25 hours Gamebird GB1. Gamebird tail dragger would be the first taste of high performance and last hurdle to clear to set the tone for the next phases. Then FUPT for T-6 / T-7. I would still sport bitch for a ME mil trainer but with all that flying with mil and specific mil training contract instructors I think you would get a pretty strong graduate. -
pretty sure they do, but the better question is did the seat have the TCTO done to replace the legacy digital sequencer with MASS?

As dumb as it’s gotten for them, I still have more respect for them than the Bama people trying to take a victory lap off last nights pee wee football team they played against. I especially like the ones calling for targeting or unnecessary roughness on a kicker making a tackle but ignoring their guys going lights out against a guy when they were up by 60 pts. The Air Force is trying to divest whole airframes. There wont be another trainer. The best to be hoped for is congress stops the t-6 divestment, forces a full ARP, and we go back to GUPT.
