The run got longer (2.0 vs 1.5mi) and scoring charts changed, as well. I'd say getting a 90+ got a little tougher, but we will have to see how the numbers come in. It used to be a majority got above a 90. We will see in the next year or two if that changes. Seems like some units are running an actual fitness program rather than just saying "you got a 90+? Cool, do what you want."
  5. Pretty certain the AIB will spot the same issues.
  6. Weird, not seeing the potato stumping for anybody
  7. How are flight hours these days. I heard fighters were slow.

  12. Big tankers Breaking DefenseUSAF should buy newly designed air refuelers to meet Chin...Although there’s a “temptation” to keep buying KC-46s, a plan to procure 75 more of the Boeing-made tankers should be an “upper limit” followed by a new, longer range tanker, the Hudson Institute’s TiFinish and fix the 46, interim big tanker 787 tanker while developing the BWB. Needs a cargo door but a looker, especially as a Guard tail.
  13. Vance T-38 class
  14. Sorry, I can't. You'll need to wait for the AIB.
  15. Ditto, inquiring minds want to know if possible.
  16. A wise Trump would avoid this choice, as she's too smart and would be President in a week, 8 days tops.
  17. Can you give those of us that have been out for sometime now an unclass version?
  18. Last week

  19. The SIB final message is out. AFSAS 2948677 Holy f—-.
  20. Also, too good not to share!!
  21. Found her! (And I've already called 'dibs' on her!!)
  22. To my face, no. However, the gentleman that did run (and win), did go negative. The incumbent was a stooge...most of the community believes he is illiterate, but he is a good ole boy.
  23. Being a Texan, I get 6-9 texts per day. I never reply.
  24. Did they give you push back on that?
  25. At least one per day, usually more, never respond. Technology continues to evolve and change the game. I think the DNC mastered that first when Obama ran, but the GOP caught up. Recently, I was asked to run for local office and seriously considered it over the summer but the BS associated convinced me otherwise. I met numerous times with the local "leaders" who wanted me to run. They have an interesting machine and the local GOP group is moving away from flyers and TV ads with a huge focus on geo-fenced direct engagement. There is so much data on each one of us out there and the software uses it to know party affiliation, likeliness to vote, key demographic and geographic data points. From what they showed me (which I take with a grain of salt), in the last local election they used half the budget of the incumbent and defeated him by 15 points. For what it is worth, they still believe the attack ad sways voters. One of the reasons I dipped out was I told them I would not resort to attack ads under any circumstance.
  26. The upsets and drama are what make the CWS great. The trash-talking added extra spice.
  27. Agreed. But I think that engagement needs to be in person, whether directly with the undecided voter or them watching/listening to the candidate engage with someone else. If I was running for office, I don’t think I’d waste money on mailers or mass texts. I’d maximize human-to-human engagement - me, plus volunteers. Go door to door, set up a table at X location on the weekend, radio/podcast/print news interviews, rallies/speeches, post at least weekly videos on SM answering crowd-sourced questions/addressing stances on the hot topics/responding to the inevitable 100% bullshit statements your opponent has made about you, etc.
  28. I've been spammed by the election texts this cycle. I find them annoying and have not responded to a single one.
